Due to 4 different Lego orders in a row arriving smashed when delivered, I have decided to not ever shop at John Lewis again. My shredded "My JL" card and MasterCard have just been placed into yet another box of crushed Lego that I'm returning to them. Even though these offers seem good, there's no way in Hell that I'll trust John Lewis to deliver anything intact ever again. Remember, any 20% discount on a large Lego set is wiped off the value if it's to be passed on at a later date. Anyway, bigger discounts from other retailers are never too far away.Since the company is in dire straights, they are cutting corners by using very thin fragile boxes and even "bin-liners". Not to mention that they're now using the lowest cost delivery product from Hermes, which we all know isn't a courier that exactly takes care.If you can click and collect, please do - don't risk delivery under any circumstances!Trust me, pay a little more and get a set in good condition from somewhere else, you won't regret it.

My recent one came in a John Lewis box and was in perfect condition. Yes the 20% will be coming from Smyths later this month too, but they always put the prices back to RRP - JL have some reduced sets here staying reduced + 20% off. The Technic prices will not be beaten in the near future.

Oh dear, this stacks with the 25% partner discount too. All of a sudden every set still on my wanted list is in my basket with a price of £1,456. Dilemma.

This makes the crocodile locomotive only £76.49. My wife is going to kill me...
Freaking typical, i waited to see if there would be any rewards yesterday and then bought elsewhere when JL had nothing!

Debating it now. Might end up better value with double VIP with a freebie?
Some of the already reduced sets are good value. 4 Privet Drive, Astronomy Tower.

That what i'm thinking but double VIP points is only 10%, so the promo would have to be pretty good.
I ordered the Harry Potter Astronomy Tower, Harry Potter Room Of Requirement, Harry Potter 4 Privet Drive, Harry Potter Advent Calendar and the Friends Central Perk set.
With discount code it came to £187.14
So I’m v happy with that.

Will probably do in 6ish months time? Come back next year
Bought Treehouse using price match of Hamleys the other day (even though it was OOS at Hamleys at the time). Now OOS at John Lewis too. Yet to claim my refund of 10%. Do you think JL will further self price match by 15%?
Just picked up Lego Old Trafford (not to everybody’s tastes and I expect some derogatory comments) for £199.99!!

Was holding out until I moved house but couldn’t ignore the price.
Anyone know how long this promo will be outstanding?

Any sets you would recommend for reduced plus 20% off? Please. Won’t mind placing another order
Anyone know when this offer ends?
Thanks, I've just ordered the 42100 excavator, saved me an extra £37 as I was just about to order from Costco.
Does anyone have the Vestas Wind Turbine and recommend it? I'm tempted with the 20% off (there are other items I'm looking at adding on).

Already been on a bit of a spree recently, so I want to hold onto my cash if I can help it.

The Leibherr 100%. Previous low was £280 so £250 is a win.
