looking to book this week!! thanx
Thanks for this - have just used it and it worked fine :-)
worked for me too!
I can't seem to add my 2 children to the billing summary. It just shows up at 2 adults 2 seats.
Didn't work for me, not sure if it's because I booked a cheap 'Funfare' ticket...

Yeah it doesn't seem to work on Funfares, it does knock 20% off the normal ticket prices for me though and that's without registering.
Is it possible to add a child to the journey using the discount code? Can only see the option for how many age 16+ are travelling?

I think because its a Student discount, it's assumed that the passenger is an adult. I recall the last code (bristoluni - now expired) did the same.

However, if a child is going with you, for £8 (Age 3-15) one child can travel with a full fare paying adult for one year, so this may work out cheaper if you regularly travel.

Ahh right, I see. No it's just a one off trip but thanks for the link though!
Would it be possible to book the adult ticket and use the discount code, then book a separate child ticket? Also do you need proof of the childs age at all? Never booked a coach trip before so unsure what to do!
Doesn't work for open returns
Fantastic got 20% off no problem and booked straight away, had rang their office earlier and they couldn't give any discount what so ever ?? very surreal....................
when does this expire
thanks just saved me a tenner

If it's anything like the last Uni inspired one, next March/April.

Hmm....just gone to try it myself and it appears it's been rumbled

EDIT Actually....it appears that the link in the OP has changed from http://www.nationalexpress.com/coach/offers/bam/index.aspx?id=GLAMORGANUNI

Try that way, it still works for me!

I've just edited the OP as the link appears to have changed.
Hi, I am thinking about using this code but I am just wondering if later on somebody is going to ask me for a student id or something??

Many thanks,

I used BristolUni code for almost a year and never got asked for any proof of student status, the actually booking confirmation doesn't mention the use of any code, merely the price paid.
So chances are, the driver isn't going to know.

hey, i've registered and everything, takes me to the national express page with the student 20% advertised on it, then i put in my journey details and i get no discount
So, if I book using this code, will I be asked to show a valid NUS (National Union Of Students) card or similar student ID when boarding the coach?

Anyone successfully booked and *used* a ticket with this code?
It's asking me to do it through my student union page...any other way I can do it?? I'm a student but don't have a union page to book via. Please help!!
It didn't offer me the discount after I had registered etc...just came up as full fare prices still. Any ideas??
Doesn't seem to be working. I've always used the uni codes, but I think they may have finally caught on. Getting a message saying "Please may you access your link through your student union site to get your discount" spoilsports!
ive just used thiscode now using the above link someone posted as before it was asking me to go to student union page. saved me 10. and on my ticket details there is no mention of the discount or student .so the driver will only know price paid and to be honest when ive travelled with the before they have only been interested in looking at the ticket number and getting you on the coach .so im sure it will be fine to use.

Try using the link in the message header, as I couldn't seem to change the direct link
Do you need to be a student to use this offer?

I used the BristolUni code all last year and had to show no proof I was a student (Nor was I).
It merely deducts the discount from the bill and shows no reference to it on the receipt/ticket
It tells me their 'database Splendid' is full and won't let me register... anyone has that problem?

Yeah, same here
Thanks for posting, but the fares offered on the link are actually 9 times higher than the initial £4.50 initially offered.
thanks
tried worked thanks!
Just now worked for me!
Worked for me - cheers.
