I've been with EE for years and only just found out about this awesome saving. I got a new contract online, entered the code 'employee20dds' and received 20% off.

Yeah this is specifically for armed forces. Please remove

I bet you don’t say that to student deals. Please leave deal up for the many on here who are soldiers and veterans. Thank you op

I'm sure they will check. I'm happy with my nearly £20 saving per month.
Ex Royal Engineer wishing all but in particular all serving and non serving forces a happy New year

Hope they do check, otherwise it will be abused and then removed - and then the people who deserve it miss out. No use to me as I have never been in the forces.

Maybe advise them of the DDS scheme rather than pass along the discounts to people who have not earned them.

let them find all the other discounts available to those who signed the dotted line.

Please remove yourself.
Not sure if still the case. But when I worked at EE, it was possible to 'pause' a serviceman's contract for a few months whilst he served abroad, then he could resume it on return...could save some money if you're serving abroad and don't need the callplan whilst you're away

That's brilliant, hope they still do that. I've been out for 8 years, but will help some of my mates who are still in.
EE are way to expensive FULL STOP!
EE have all kinds of 20% off codes for big companies/organizations.

I have one because I work for bmw and EE are the network provider they use.

They all start employee20 then 3 letters after.
They have never checked mine or the family and friends I have shared it with (can share with 5 people)

It can only be used online as a voucher code, but once on the account it can be applied to upgrades ect but you have to start a new contract to get it on your account in the first place.

Agreed - I could have a similar discount via company benefits , but EE is so expensive anyway that it is still doesn't beat other providers.
Guys and gals in armed forces, police, ambulance and fire service should get free mobiles. Traffic wardens should be barred from having anything with a battery apart from a duldo

Not at all, you simply need to select deals better, example: I do have iPhone 7 Plus 32GB with 7GB of data for £20.99, try to find the same deal elsewhere...

Someone has told DDS who has suspended my account. I was only outlining the deal. Bloody jobsworths
