Thanks for the feedback berisford, Sorry to know it didnt work. According to OP @ MSE, the code is from Screwfix million pound giveaway peel and reveal card.

"Once you go through the checkout I think there is a box for special instructions and codes, the description is at the right hand side, once your order goes through the checkout it will still show the original price but once they have processed your order and sent a confirmation email the £20 will have been taken off. Hope this helps". From MSE

yep your probably right....i'm getting a bit mixed up as all stuff i purchase is on account

vouchers i apply don't show up till a bit later

I have ordered from them before and the voucher I used was £10 off £50 and it didnt come off in the confirmation email or on the screen when I ordered, however it did come off when I had the items and the reciepted showed £10 off!! So it worked when i used it before!

think this was posted badly - the discount DOES come through after all! It does NOT show on your email confirmation but if you log in to your account at screwfix.com, the £20 IS deducted.

Apologies to EDI - the code does work - not sure if you can un-expire this - great post after all

blast - just ordered £61 worth of stuff yesterday and i had looked everywhere for a discount code:thinking:

i have ordered some additional stuff and filled in the code in the 'special instructions' field
However when i log in to my account it is not showing the discount???

voucher code still working, 20 pound taken off once order has been processed.

yes i can confirm too that it does not show on the screen but i checked with CS and its been taken off.

Why has this great deal disappeared from the main page and cannot be found under a merchant search "screwfix":?

Not showing yet on mine...ordered at lunchtime...and my Dell quidco from 2 weeks ago didn't track either....guess it's just my turn:x

quite impressed really ,i needed some switches but the total didnt come to £50 so i added a £29.99 drill(to make up the order). This was out of stock on my confirmation email. so they didnt give me the £20 off but gave me free packing and handling and added £5.00 extra discount . so i got what i wanted for about £10 less than list price

Made an order last night around midnight and today it said £20 off so still working think I will be making another few orders from them excellent one.
