To be fair to you mate, ee contracts are massively expensive anyway, so even with this discount applied, I can still get two sims from virgin for the price of one ee.. Voted hot for being a risk taker

Does this include upgrades do you know
To the OP, we have a similar code as part of our employee benefits with Xexec, however, the terms and conditions clearly state that it is only intended for employees of the that organisation. If you get caught, you risk your employment.

Not sure why folk are saying too expensive. Maybe when first joining, but once onboard pricing is very competitive for Gold Standard 4G speeds etc
How would this work on a pay monthly contract? Would it be 20% of each monthly cost?
Stupid expensive contracts even with 20% off. I wonder if it's due to BT Sport inclusion for high tier sims.
I bought my pixel XL out right and took a Sim only deal with EE. Worked out cheaper than renewing my contract with a new phone. It literally blew their minds when I said I was gonna do it this way
I honestly do not know how they are still going as a business, stupid inflated prices..
Just incase this matters to some, my 4g speed on the ground floor at my work is 54meg. Ee are bang on for signal and 4g speeds

Because most people do not have a clue what they're doing and just go to their local O2/EE/Three/Vodafone shop and get fleeced.

When I had an enforced upgrade (Old phone met hard floor), I went to the EE shop to give them a chance as I have a 20% discount via my work too and wanted to see if they could work with it (They couldn't). The staff tried to convince me a Galaxy A5 was an upgrade from my LG G5.

I had to do my best not to tell them that I wasn't born yesterday, but needless to say EE Retentions sorted me out instead.

However, the majority of people are not tech savvy, not on this sort of site and don't realise how much they're being ripped off. They just see a "Free" phone and easy monthly payments.

Of course, like in the energy market, suckers* pay for the people who have the cheek to shop around and play the companies against each other.

*Note to suckers, if you're unsure, ask a friend who is tech savvy when buying stuff like this to help!
Just got a SIM only upgrade from EE quoting the £9 virgin deal as a deal swayer. They gave me 4gb unlimited minutes and texts and be sport for a year for 8.99 for 12 months if anyone is looking to do something similar

Should be been 24.99

Okay I have 200GB data plan with EE.
Before I tell you what I pay, how much would you pay for 200GB data?

BT have been caught with their pants down in that regard. Financing their high prem rights deal with shoddy openreach practises. Effing hate monopolies. They will soon get found out end of this month when Amazon come into play.

Wow... People are getting very defensive over EE, take a chill pill pal, I've had no experience with them, apart from having a quick look at their poor sim only plans online.
I czn honestly say I haven't asked virgin the question, nor do I intend to, I was simply putting my point a cross, but duly noted I won't disrespect your precious ee again (in this thread) be strong my friend

With respect. Really not sure where you are coming from here. You attack EE for being overpriced. I ask you to compare with your Virgin, but you fall silent on my question.

I think you're missing the point.

You have an incredible deal, just like I have an incredible deal for my Plusnet fibre broadband.

Would I recommend Plusnet to you? No, because you won't anywhere near that deal, as I'm getting it stupid cheap (won't say how much as this isn't a bragging thead).

Stop comparing your deal and compare deals that we can all get, because you are essentially saying go with EE at this price in the hope they will offer you a great deal in the future - surely you can see that's terrible advice.
