We're in an era where the 6" mobile phone screen in front of me has a 1440p screen.
Most people are chasing 4K displays nowadays, they have no interest in a 32" 720p image!

That said if i was sitting a good distance away from a display i wouldn't be able to notice the difference between a 1080p and 720p imagine, i'm sure for some people this is a total steal!
