if this is not already in the voucher section then its good

£14.50 for registering for this on QuidCo too!

i recieved a code specific to me in the post today i think, for 3 months free aswell and im an ex-customer so looks like theyre on a summer recruitment drive

If you want to use this for games make sure you select one of the "combination" packages.

Didn't realize I had selected a DVD package and had to ring up to change over to DVDs and games. It looks like my 90 days has been bumped down to a month as a result.

I went through quidco about an hour ago and will post an update if it is tracked successfully.

I would check that you are still on the free trial as normally any change in package results in the free trial ending and going straight onto a paying package. It is the terms & conditions i think.

Just about to cancel my existing free 3 month deal. :whistling:

Yeah, I noticed that. They kindly changed my package over the phone when I explained my mistake. Also noticed my billing date is now Nov 17.

yeah how do they make money?

I wonder if they have some sort of insurance protection that kicks in … I wonder if they have some sort of insurance protection that kicks in when trialists never take them on.i.e. the insurance company covers the cost of post during non paying trial.

can't imagine any insurance company taking on that risk.

These codes for 3 months are very good.

A guy in my office is on his 2nd free 3 month trial - which means he is getting 6 months rental for free!

I am sure there must be a quirk in their system somewhere!

I haven't paid anything in over 2 years! Very odd company.

be careful with these though.
I took up the free 3 month trial more than 6 months ago and cancelled just before it ran out, well about 3 months later I got a letter from cab debt agency telling me i owed lovefilm £20! and if i didn't pay it i would have to go to court. I emailed lovefilm and they were no help at all telling me it was nothing to do with them now and i had to contact the debt agency so i got on the phone to them and sorted it out. first they said i needed to contact LF about it then when i explained what they'd said they were appalled that they had refused to help, and assured me they would sort it out with them.
a few months later i got yet another letter of the same telling me i hadn't responded to the first letter and again threatening legal action! so i got back on the phone with the agency and told them it was the second time i had called, they told me they did have noted that i had called before and it had been sorted but lovefilm were still saying i owed them money! it's all sorted now, i haven't had anything else from them but i will NEVER use lovefilm again in a million years, it just wasn't worth it. so be careful when taking up the free trial then cancelling!!

Don't forget that Tesco use LOVEFiLM for their DVD rental shop front - you get 1000 clubcard points if you sign up for 3 months:

The films you returned must have arrived back after the first billing date and you must have provided erroneous bank/cc details otherwise they would have just collected the premium. Either that or a film never made it back to them so they wanted £20 to cover the loss. Maybe you provided an erroneous email address?

Never had any problems in 3-4 years with Lovefilm and they are far superior to Blockbusters / Amazon in both service & value although they are still far from perfect still.

no it didn't I sent back all the dvds weeks before i cancelled. email address etc was fine - i took my details off their site when i cancelled and even recieved an email from them saying my account had successfulkly cancelled and i would recieve no more mailings from them! what do you know i recieved another of those letters today!! this is really a pain i wish i'd never signed up with them!

If I've already had a 3 month trial do I just need to use a different e-mail address to get another or should I make a 'subtle' change to the address as well?

No,just use exact same details, reactivate by using the code and away you go again.:)

whenever i put these codes in, it never gives me an option of a free trial of the combined, just dvds. i only want to rent their psp games.

How do you/where do u choose dvd & game option for 90 day trial? cant see it on the site
