I am just trying to use

£3 off a £10 spend, use code: 3DISCUK

But it says:

"Please specify a valid voucher number"

Would you know why? Is it because it is already discounted product I am trying to order (£20)?

:-( Does not work even on normal priced products :-( Still having same request: "Please specify a valid voucher number"

Just called their customer services and they said:

1) first voucher code is
£3 off a £30 spend, use code: 3DISCUK, not £10 spend :-(

!!! So I guess this post should be updated !!!

2) vouchers can not be used on their website at the moment as they have new website and having some problems at the moment :-(

Sorry lenjuz that was a typo on my part, it's meant to read £3 off a £30 spend. £3 off a £10 spend would have been nice though!

Thanks for pointing that out

:-))) Still great deal and came JUST IN TIME I was doing my order, can you imagine :-)
Thanks for posting, heat added!
Site shows no sign of fixing this problem. The person on live chat today said she had no information on when it would be fixed
the code worked for me, but they still took the full amount off my card
None of the codes worked for me. I contacted customer services and they said they'd expired, so provided a £5 off £50+ spend code instead: 500-AWIN-DIS2

The flyer I got through the post said that these expire 05/01/2014 but by the sounds of it the staff have no idea regarding this promotion so thanks for providing that £5 off £50 code
codes do not work
The only code that seems to be working is 500-AWIN-DIS2 giving £5 on a £50 spend. I'm trying to find a working code for a £30 min spend but having a hard time trying to get an answer out of their customer service team. Anyone else had any luck?
Just worked it out! I played around with a few different characters and 300-AWIN-DIS1 has given £3 off in the checkout. Not a great saving but every little helps

Thanks for this, I've updated the main post.

I've also found that the voucher codes can be stacked which means this is a great deal if spending over £75. For example:

Not bad!

I have just been to pick up my item and although I took a copy of my order showing the discount the shop still tried to charge me full price. I gave them the discount code in the shop which did not work, so they called customer service who had to give them a different code that worked.
Bit of a work up....

Print off your order and take it with you!

worked... stacked the codes and got 15 quid off on 75 worth purchase!
worked for me thank u
I tried the stackable discounts just before Christmas on some items which totalled £77+ it seemed to accept and since I was going to be near the store I elected to stop in and collect (and pay for) there , although I could have got free delivery. When I got to the store they tried to charge the full amount - no clue about the discounts. Manager called 'head office' and best he could offer was £7 off ...I declined and thought I'll just order from home and get free delivery....but when I tried that and went to checkout the system still seemed to want to bill me the full amount. Having read the latest posts here I thought I'd give it another go. When I just did that a few mins ago I found that when I checked my basket (and before i tried to enter the discount codes it offered me three similar codes only one of which could be used £3 £5 or £7 - for a laugh I thought I'd see if the old codes were still recognised - and they were ! So I added the £3 then the £5 and then the £7 and it still showed the new codes below so I added the highest of those (£5) i could and it added it on - total of £20 discount. So I've just gone thru checkout using paypal and home delivery and according to paypal the fully discounted amount is what is being charged - Result - I hope !

Order Totals
Subtotal: £77.97
Savings: £20.00
Delivery: FREE
Total: £57.97
Your order includes £12.99 tax

A bit long winded but hopefully worth it ?
Thanks, saved £15. You can combine store pick up and home delivery in the same order too, but you need to set all items to delivery, then apply the codes, then alter the items you want to collect to store pick up.
These codes are still active!
I contacted customer services and they confirmed this, I have just used them successfully and got £15 off my order!

You're right, thanks for letting me know
Still works! I just ordered an HD recorder and added the 3 voucher codes for a £7, £5 and £3 saving and they were all accepted for a single transaction - brining my total down by £15! So glad I looked at this site before placing my order, especially considering that maplin were the cheapest sellers of the unit in the first place and also free standard delivery. Hope item arrives without any problems and they don't reject my order for stacking voucher codes :-0 *** update *** they sent me a used product... box has been opened, the label seal broken and the software disk is missing. I've emailed them and hopefully they'll be able to send out a new box.

Yea looks as though it's stopped.

Strange thing is though, because Maplin appear to store the fact that I entered a correct voucher code in the past as a cookie I'm still receiving the discount, even though the code can no longer be redeemed.. oO

None of the codes seem to be working anymore?
I went to the Maplin Strand, London branch. All of the staff tried and the main supervisor came and stated it will NOT work. ONLY vouchers on Maplin website will work.

Spent £74.99 today hoping get £5.00 off. This was my first attempt. Probably I won't bother looking up again. Thanks
