Just done my Scooter insurance through Swinton who have an offer of £30 Cashback but if you go through Quidco you can get a further £27 Cashback. So £57 all together. Swinton send you an email the day after taking your policy out with a phone number and an eleven digit reference. Dial the number and it asks for DOB and the 11 digit ref and it says you should receive the cheque 90 days after your policy starts. So I got a years fully comp scooter insurance for £24. Hope this helps someone out.

See post 5 for a better deal thru TCB, £80.80 back on, eg, car insurance

Did you compare Swinton price to other insurance companies before you bought this? Were all other's more expensive? I'm not too keen on cashback if the insurance price is higher than everywhere else. (I'm asking because I'm looking for scooter insurance for someone).

BTW, I don't think you can get 2 cashbacks on one purchase, you should make sure.

I can confirm I got 2 cashbacks from Swinton for my house insurance - £30.00 from Quidco and a cheque for £30 3 months later from Swinton. And yes I did shop around and it was the cheapest.

Ditto!

I've had both in the past from Swinton/Quidco.
i just did a quote direct on their webiste and it was £25 more than if i went through confused.com !!

so £5 cheaper direct with £30 swinton cashback

Although take into account if you go via quidco the £27 cashback it appears a not bad a deal !!!

Better deal - Go thru Topcashback and you get £40.40 from TCB and £40 from Swinton = £80.40 back, on eg car insurance.

my insurance went up last year, swintons sent quote through post, went on line looking got insurance down then went into swintons and moaned alot, i ended up transfering my house insurance through swinton and got £200 pound cashback after 3 months, did the same this year too, i asked wheres the cashback offer i had last year. just goes to show how over priced insurance is.most people just pay as its easier than filling in forms.

Just a reminder. Don't get a quote from Confused.com and then go by Quidco or you may get refused the cashback as Confused.com will claim the commission.

good point, and if need to , clear your history and cache !!

I did this with Swinton last year.

I also renewed as a new customer this year to get both payments again, and so far both cashbacks are on track to pay. That's even after phoning to get them to credit my no claims to the policy.

They were cheapest for me, but regardless 57 over a year is under a fiver a month!!
I just done this deal , thx op

Anyone know , ??

how long does it take for them to email you the " £30 cashback claim form "
Hi robbsafc, many thanks for posting, i have moved it to the voucher section, as there is a discount code that requires inputting in order to get the cashback from Swinton.
I got the email from Swinton the following day and cashback is showing as tracked in Quidco. Apologies for posting in the wrong section. Will take a little practice to get it right.
