Doesn't Look Like A Fashion Deal To Me Lol

lol i was just thinking the same.... maybe you could change the link to direct us to gap.com

yes I wouldn't mind the correct link too!....I want some new clothes

You don't need the website link to buy - it's instore only!

still, be nice to have a look though wouldnt it?

I originally hadn't put in a link because Gap UK doesn't appear to have a website. Hotukdeals must have automatically inserted the incorrect link. I have now directed it to gap.com but what you really need is the voucher image per the original link.

Why Put The Link On Then?
The Url To The Voucher Doesn't Work For Me Either

thanks for that...but like mistrel said it would of been nice to browse before going to the store where all the horrid xmas shoppers are lol...thanks OP

Hi Caroline - copy and paste the url into your address bar, it should work. I don't know how to turn it into a proper hyperlink.

Thanks for this.
Anybody 100% sure where this has come from in case we get quizzed?!

I think this offer is one of their usual offers for corporate companies. I work for a large company and we were told about this offer and all we need to do is show our work pass in our local stores and they'll give us a 30% discount. If anyone quizzes you just say you work for a large company.

That's my guess at where this has come from anyway.

All gap stuff is overpriced anyway. My advice is to wait till the very end of the sales when most stuff will be 70% off or more anyway. Either when the signs in the window say "final reductions" and sometimes just after they take that sign down they reduce things even more. Also do not forget the GAP price difference policy. If you buy something, keep the receipt, go back within 2 weeks, if it's reduced you can get the price difference refunded.

That's all very well but a lot of people buy xmas presents from Gap and this will allow them to get good prices to do so.

I have been able to confirm that the voucher is intended for employees of large corporations. If asked, say you work for Barclays and you will be OK.

normally gap sale starts before 24 dec, i do receive this voucher from my HR

I have just used this GAP voucher. Got 3 pairs of jeans for my son for £31.50. Excellent price. Sales assistant did not question me at all and even gave me the voucher back to use again. Thanks to whoever posted this. :-D

What do you say to them exactly to get the 30% discount?

Original Poster

No need to say anything - hand over the voucher. In the unlikely event that they ask you who you work for - say Barclays. You can use the voucher as often as you want and, yes, the assistants will return the voucher to you so you can use it again.

Well we got these vouchers today, and i dont work for barclays, nor a big firm. and was told we would need our payslip to use it.

But who knows...

Yes, went to gap today after work with my (legit) voucher and was asked to show my ID card. Manager in Gap said they had been alerted to the "illegal" voucher on the web by head office and had been told to call the police if anyone tried to use it!!!!! so be careful.

Don't really believe that that they could or would call the police.
Surely they would just day no?!

I wanted to use the gap voucher but a bit reluctant now as expecting to get 'busted' :-( Anyone able to reassure me?

I am 100% sure that this was sent to all staff at the recruitment company "Manpower". I have friends that work there. Just say you work for them and that you don't have a pass or don't have your pass on you.

Original Poster

I have used it successfully and wasn't asked who I worked for.

I wouldn't worry about the voucher being turned down. These have been sent everywhere because Gap are desperate for sales.
The only reason to be cautious about using it is that there will inevitably be 50% and 70% reductions in store when this offer finishes

They credit recent purchases though, if you keep your receipt.
