It looks like they just want existing customers to keep buying things. I wonder how many of these vouchers can you use in a week or a month ?

Well not sure about that. But as a company is not in their best interest to do this don't you think?

Let's think this properly.

Two customers: Customer A buys a lot and Customer B does not buy very often.

They send a voucher to customer B which he does not use but gives to Customer A.

Customer A buys something with that voucher.

The following week the same happens and the one after that and after that.

So they have Customer A that keeps buying them stuff with those vouchers and Customer B that never buys anything.

If they decide to get the money back from Customer A they loose two customers. But if they don't do anything they keep one good customer and a second customer that one day will fall for it. So as a company I don't think they would want to loose customer A.

I guess in a way is all about risk and luck. If you don't take risk then you don't win as simple as that.

I had the email today. Just can't see anything around £60 quid that I want! :-(

its what LW do. Its clearly in their T&Cs that they take any vouchers back if later on they discover they werent issued directly to you. They've done it before in a big way (see bbc.co.uk)

Just Ordered Some Air Max 90's Thanks! 2 Hours Later I Recieved The Code In My Email But The Trainers Came Out Of Stock In My Size! Heat Added!

Just used the code over the phone with Littlewoods Direct, received the same code by e-mail today for Additions Direct which is part of the same group.
I haven't had a code rejected yet from any of their catalogues, so fingers crossed !

This is the same code given out to new customers only (according to other voucher posts on here), therefore I guess they will only accept them from specific people.

I really can't see why they can't just organise the codes so if you aren't authorised to use it, it won't work on your account. That would save a LOT of hassle.

Not working oin a £88 order:x

ZQ270 - Sorry, this promotion code cannot be applied to your order.

edit

just re-read the top post, phone calls only

I would agree but they seem to be sending out the same code to large numbers of customers relating to all their catalogues so I don't really know how they'll keep a record of it?

They just keep a note of whoever the send the voucher to, its not exactly difficult to do.
