It's a good deal to attact new customers. But just remember that if you don't cancel your agreement after your first order using the voucher, Virgin Wines will automatically debit your credit card for £20 each month thereafter. This will then be credited to your Wine Club account for future purchases of wine.

You have to spend it on a case of 12 with a value greater than £79.99

I signed up for a wine club account a couple of years ago with a similar voucher and its great.
True you have to pay £20 a month into your Virgin Wines Winebank but every 3 months they give you an extra £20.
I kept my account open for 13 months without making another purchase because the really nice cheap sparkling wine I bought with my opening order was never re-stocked. This meant my Winebank account had a balance of £340 made up of £260 of payments from my credit card and £80 of credit from Virgin Wine (ie £20 every 3 months).
After 13 months I gave up waiting for the wine I wanted to be re-stocked and phoned up virgin wines to cancel my wine bank account and they re-credited my credit card with the £260 I had paid into the account. The great thing was that my Virgin wine account remained open and still showed an £80 credit due to the £20 credits I'd received every 3 months.
I used the £80 on 13 bottles of great free wine.

that's pretty good....i thought you weren't suppose to keep the winebank interest if you got a refund - i'll need to try that as i've got about 100 quid in mine.

By the way, BBC good food are doing the same 40 quid winebank deal - code: GOODF4WB11 password: WINEBANK
