I hardly bother anymore as around 70% of my posts get deleted, you spend a lot of time writing posts, getting images etc then within a second...bang removed. If for example Amazon trusts a seller to sell stuff (considering you have the Amazon refund guarantee) then why can't this site. I would probably put a bet down that within 6 months, the comments section will be removed.

The site is a complete joke at the moment, it has completely gone away from a community forum where members share deals and opinions. Now you get a bunch of forced advertising deals, with false voting patterns to allow them to highlight their own deals. They have “experts” to spam out deals that the site want, then explain that it’s what the members supposedly want... They make this assumption based on voting patterns (made by their very own false voting). This was seen in the recent EE PepperBonus deal which went hot in seconds, then didn’t budge once in the hot deal section. It gradually got pushed past the 250 degrees mark, which meant they could highlight it...

They then sent me a warning regarding me speaking out my opinions, accusing me of thread spoiling...

This is the unfortunate future for the site, so I would happily be banned for speaking my mind.

You’re absolutely right mate if you check my posts I think I must’ve posted around 300 deals before the moderators came into power and for the last two years I’ve done nothing ✅ you’re absolutely right so much time and effort.
this site used to have the best prices and some real bargains but I’m sure the real dealers have stopped posting like us that’s why it’s flat compared to What it used to be 👌

They can do what they want as long as the site makes money. As way mentioned before, this site is no longer centred around a community, it's all about making money for the parent company. So the mods can ride roughshod over us and we just smile and take it or stop using the site. I've stopped buying through the link's. It's not much in the greater scheme of things but hopefully it'll minimise what they're getting out of me.

I was once threatened to have my ability to vote revoked because I was voting too many deals cold without posting on the threads explaining why I had mistakenly thought that the idea of voting was that we were actually allowed to do it how we felt about a certain deal....my bad!

I have to laugh when I see that our, so called experts are in no way rewarded for their posts . In that case, why do they suddenly start posting the most average drivel just to get their number's up? Posting deals using generic site wide codes etc.

If anyone has any suggestions for alternative deal sites, please pm me (I doubt this post will stay up for long)

Yes the same has happened to me when I spoke out about the obvious Tokyo laundry spam that hotukdeals get paid to advertise.

Now every single one of my comments on here requires a moderator to approve it before it gets posted. So this will probably be deleted anyway
whats the end date?
