Three years ago I bought a very decent bed and Mattress from the Cardiff Store from them for £500. Customer service was fine, delivery peopled were fine. Bed was one of the most comfortable I had tried after driving around all morning lying on Beds in other Showrooms. I wasn't impressed with the Customer service /Sales Rep in Dreams, for what it's worth.

I don't know what has changed in three years, but I had no problems back then. Tell it like you see it...

Well I guess one satisfied customer in 6 is OK for them lol
Only ever used them once and boy did they get the service wrong! Although,I can’t be sure whether they’re always a terrible company to deal with but for such an expensive purchase I’d rather go elsewhere than find out again.

Dreams are good. And they have 20% off. (Think it’s still on). In store and online,
I agree...bought two beds from dreams on two separate purchases couple of years apart...good customer service and they sent me what I paid for

They refused to collect my unopened, unused (online)purchase within 14 days even when I was willing to pay for the unknown collection/handling fee, but then I stupidly agreed to accept the offer of a 20% refund of the order - checked twice with them but then when I noticed they hadn’t, I called a third time and they claimed they had no idea what I was talking about... Oh, and I realised after that the item I bought was very uncomfortable.

Yes, I could have taken this further but with a new house move I just had too much to deal with
as it is. Dealing with snakes here.

No idea if you want a bed or just mattress but mattressman online do a few decent mattresses. But if your not sure how firm or soft you need as it's very difficult to say if you have the right one until you've slept on it a few weeks. If this is the case it's worth joining Costco and buying from them because they accept returns up to a year I think even if you don't like it for whatever reason. Their Cs is second to none.

I agree with the poor customer service comments. Without doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with.
Bought bed and mattress for nearly £2k. They were really convincing with their 5 years warranty. 2 years in, and mattress started 'sinking in,'. Call them up, and now saying we should have turned the mattress every couple of months, so warranty won't cover! Thieves!!!
Btw, try calling their after sales support, min 3hrs wait! Wonder why

Never buy from this company absolutely rubbish and disgusting customer service. Paid a fortune for an igel mattress which is rubbish.
Let me tell you about my experience with these cowboys which Iam still traumatised by over a year later. I bought a wardrobe from my local store for over a grand. The sales man assured me and my wife that if we complete the sale there and then he will give us a £50 voucher to use against any other purchase. As we wanted to buy a £300 table from them we thought that is nice. As soon as I signed the finance agreement he remembered to tell us that minimum purchase is £500 for the voucher which he conveniently forgot to tell us . Any way, the wardrobe arrived 9 weeks later (instead of the promised six weeks), with the wrong size drawers so the fitters could not fit them. Two months of torture trying to get the drawers replaced, hours on the phone to CS (you will be lucky to speak to someone after an hour wait). Went to the store and they refused to deal with it claiming that they only sell products and once I received my order I should contact cs for any problem and they refused to speak to CS on my behalf.

I hope to see them go bust and their dodgy staff losing their jobs.

Yes they do but wanted to charge me 10% of the mattress to return, this was 2 yrs ago. The mattress is supposed to be no roll but it dipped from the start. We turned it each week like it stated but it still crippled both myself and hubby. On the look out for a cheaper and better mattress now as we have suffered long enough.

Tried instore and nothing like the one received, states no roll in the middle, it did and does! Its crippling, hubby sleeps side and back and complains every morning about his back, i sleep front and same result with hip pain. Ive slept on comfier matresses for half the price. I left a rubbish review about the matress online when bought and they removed it.

I understand the pain. I tried the Simba and it just wasn’t for me, I ended up buying Next spring/gel mattress in firm and I loved it so much I bought a medium for the spare room. Trials are important! Everyone is different but a bad mattress can ruin your life!

As BFB... They didn’t even want to tell me how much the return fee was... now it all makes sense.
Be very careful with most manufacturers, as they give 5 year warrantee but its not really because after so many years you only get a percentage of your money back. That's not a full guarrantee
Whatever you do, DO NOT buy from this company. Last year I ordered a new mattress spending over £600. I was told it was in stock and would be delivered in 3 weeks. On the day of delivery I received a text confirming that my mattress will be delivered that day. As I didn't have the space to store my old king size mattress I had a friend help me take my old mattress to my local refuse center in his van. Come 6pm my new mattress had not arrived. I called customer services only get a message that they only open 9-5. Called the next morning to be told that they had no idea why it had not been delivered and no idea when it would be. After several calls I was told the mattress was not actually in stock and will be available in another 2 weeks and was offered an inflatable mattress to use whilst I wait. As you can image I was not impressed but had no choice but to wait. 2 weeks passed and once again I got a text message that the mattress will be delivered today and once again nothing. When I called to complain, customer services told me it was loaded on the wrong van and there was nothing they could do. I finally spoke to the sale woman that sold me the mattress in store and she was very helpful, gave me a refund straight away and said that they have had some many problems with the warehouse that it was a total joke and I was not the only customer to be treated like this. Wrote a letter of complaint to the company, but I never got a reply!

I'd return and take 90% towards new mattress
