TAKE SCREENSHOTS of the offer... as they ask for that as evidence when they don't credit you... I mean who takes screenshots right?

Really? So I can have the money back for myself

The trick is to not to pay it back for a while. I used a similar promotion to buy my ps4 from Very. The full price is added to your very credit account as buy now pay later for 12 month. Within a few weeks or by a defined date in the promo they will credit back the 50 quid to your credit account. So the total amount you have to pay is reducedat that point in time. Then anytime after that you can pay it off as it will be the lowered amount. Just make sure you pay before the 12 month period ends but not earlier then they deduct the 50 pounds from your credit. Hope this helps a bit.

Cheaper than the Tesco deal with a good game but personally wouldn't risk Very as I had a bad experience with an iPhone deal....heard others don't have issues so heat for the deal but not for me!
Doesn’t seem to be for all consoles.

Apologies. I have amended the title.
Hot, always so much hate for very on this site heat for you bud
Would the credit back just go onto your account, you can't claim the cash can you? My son is after a switch for my grandson for Xmas, told him bout very but they no longer do the 20% off code
Bought a few Deals from Very and just paid out right with no problems.
Why are they Pre-Order I wonder
Doesnt seem to be working?

The Buy Now Pay Later coupon MDQN7 is not valid
Not on One X sadly
MDQN7 works for me using an existing Very account I opened a few months ago and have had no issues with. Heat from me as don't think this will be cheaper on Black Friday as it's £273.98 inc delivery with Mario Kart

So the £50 gets taken off at checkout and not as credit back on your account?
No from the Very site:

By entering MDQN7 in the promo code box at checkout your item will be put on 12 months Buy Now Pay Later automatically. We'll then credit £50 back to your account by 21st December 2017 or the dispatch date, whichever is later. We'll email you when we have applied the credit to your account.

Me too but I now screenshot the offer to provide evidence when they try to refuse
Does anyone know which consoles this works on?
I'm about to checkout, after applying the code it doesn't indicate anywhere it's taken the code in? A little worrying?
So am I right that this just adds credit into your account which must be spent on SOMETHING ELSE, not a reduction from the total price and/or credit to spend on that item?

No when I did a offer with the Xbox one last year they credited the money to the very account so meant I paid 20% less overall didn't have to spend it on anything.

I rang them and they acknowledged that the code has gone through. Not great that it doesn't confirm on the site.
I might be wrong here but as this is a preorder with delivery on the 1st of December (I guess no stock or something) I assume we can order it and if something better comes along on black friday we can still cancel it. Or am I wrong?

this is only on specific gaming BUNDLES not any console.

1. Buy any selected Gaming Console Bundle on 12 months Buy Now Pay Later.

2. By entering MDQN7 in the promo code box at checkout your item will be put on 12 months Buy Now Pay Later automatically. We’ll then credit £50 back to your account by 21st December 2017 or the dispatch date, whichever is later. We'll email you when we have applied the credit to your account.

Buy Now Pay Later allows you to delay payment for 12 months. The payment free period starts when you place your order.

The interest is calculated from order date and will be added to your account after the end of the payment free period. Avoid interest by paying in full within the payment free period. Find out more in checkout.

Delivery charges and other Financial Services products are not available on Buy Now Pay Later and will appear on your next statement.

Order must be placed online by 9pm on the final day of the promotion. If you return your item, the credit will be reversed. This can’t be used in conjunction with other offers (entering any other promo code apart from XXXXX in checkout will exclude you from this promotion). Offer live 9th November – 16th November 2017.

Credit provided, subject to credit and account status by Shop Direct Finance Company Ltd. Aintree Innovation Centre, Park Lane, Netherton, Bootle L30 1SL. Over 18’s. Authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Ah, this is great to know. Thanks! Will definitely look into this, however 100+ purchases in the last 48 hours worries me haha!

So I managed to use a 20% off code Very sent me last week AND select pay 0% interest for a year! Get in! This is just the console I should add (I'll buy games elsewhere) I had to jump on board at this price! Big love for the Big N!

Exactly same senerio as last year buying a ps4 for son.Very removed the buy it now and put it on their 44%credit account .By time I realised they had added nearly 40 in interest payments .
They refused to remove interest payment despite one advisor confirming it was on buy now pay later .
Take a look on review sites about very !!

I've gone for it and got my Switch with Mario, it was 10% when I did it.

If you don't mind me asking what was the issue you had?
Might just get this as it's a pre-order and then if there is anything decent in black Friday I can just cancel.
I might be reading this wrong but it’s only in the pay later option which has a 39.9% APR that’s more than twice what credit cards charge and close to £100 interest on the first year alone
Which is why you pay it off before the interest kicks in...

On previous cashback deals I've had at very it's paid back to your account after a couple of months.

They had a promotion for 10% back on an iPhone so I ordered, due £80 back, followed the instructions, it was over 3 months interest free so I made the first two payments, no sign of my cashback. Called them & they claimed I had chosen the wrong option. I hadn't. I won in the end but took endless calls & emails and as a self employed person I can't be wasting time arguing like that!

I could be wrong but all the deals I've had were always 12 months BNPL so you probably did take the wrong option and Very honoured you in the end. So if anything credit to them for doing it.

I've taken deals like this numerous times from them and never had a problem.

No it was definitely 3 months, 100%. I wouldn't have gone for 12 as I don't like buying on credit even at 0%.

Ya what I mean is the condition was for you to select the 12 months option. It's confusing indeed but it mentions it in their T&C.

I don't like doing credit buying too so once I get the credit off Very I ask them to assign the credit to the item (you have to do that to see it in effect on your BNPL item) and pay off in all.

Just make sure next time before you "add order to account" you picked 12 months (it's default on 3 months) if in the terms it says 12 months which in my case was always the condition and never had a problem.
keep getting this

same happened with me - spoke to online chat who said give them a call and they will do it over the phone.

easier to sign up for another account as that seems to work
oh this is brilliant and what a farce, make sure you check as this is what I am being told

Thank you so much for confirming that for me, I just checked on the account and the reason the code is not working on the order the account does not have Buy Now Pay Later later as Buy Now Pay Later is also a promotion it rotates to each and every customer every 3 months.

So you have to be in the 3 month cycle of the offer! what a load of crap
I am telling you know, people are going to get done on this deal....where does it say on the offer, certain customers only!

if you do this screenshot everything and call and ask for a email confirming your account is actioned for the offer, as Very will remove the voucher or not apply it and claim your account was not valid

A switch is on my son's Xmas list so looking at the switch+Mario kart 8 for £319.99 -£50 credit =£269.99

Do we think this will get any cheaper/better offer on BF (if only I had a crystal ball!!)

Do I have to set up a credit agreement with Very before I can enter this code? Just worried about the offer not being applied/the dislike Very gets on here..makes me nervous about ordering from them
