I always get my wipers from here when they do the 20% discount, cheap as chips for a pair.

Good deal for oil

It might have been had they not put the price up of mine to £86.99 like they useally do in these supposed sales. With discount it takes it to £43.49. Carparts4less there sister site has the same oil for £47.38 before discount and £38.38 after making this deal freezing. Just to give you some idea how fake these deals are Halfords charge £58 for the oil so where euro gets the idea that £86.99 is a normal price is beyond me.
Got a car battery from them today. Paid £73, RAC guy wanted £130 so this promotion worked well for me today.

Check if you didn't have battery cover, if so claim money back from them. Their technician was trying to sell me one even though I had battery cover included.

Depends what battery you bought and the battery the RAC man was offering, if you bought a Lion one I would either take it back or definitely keep the receipt, they are not good, one of the best places for batteries is Tayna batteries online, check there then search for the same battery from ECP’s one will be at least double the price of the other yet they still offer a 50% discount and even with that it’s still more

What’s the original price from different sellers like Halfords / Tayna batteries etc, I looked at one for my Freelander 2 ECP’s £210 then 50% off Tayna Batteries £89 with no discount, that’s how ECP’s work double and a bit then offer you upto 50% off every week but people still fall for it

Thanks for the info. Dont know much about batteries. RAC website popped up a Bosch, which is what i purchased for half their quoted price at europarts. Not sure if Bosch is any good, based on price it seemed middle ground, with 5 year guarantee.
The car battery i purchased (Bosch S4 075) : £130 RAC, £73 europarts (with 50% discount), £68 standard price at Tayna. Advice above is correct as still cheaper at Tayna, however assume they post out and needed asap. Car battery pricing seems crazy.
all their prices are inflated as stated above, for their "sale"....
