Usually £30 but only £15 with this code. If your car wants to pull anything other than straight its worth it because for the tyre replacement savings and its just all round nicer to drive. Some cars benefit from a 4 wheel alignment rather than just front and i dont think the code works for anything other than front alignment.

Take National Tyres with a grain of salt thou, Sometimes depending on the "mechanic" you will get a faultless service or you'll get someone that cant be bothered. My experience has been 3/4 good jobs with the 1/4 being an afternoon job and the one guy working didnt even know i was booked in and told me to come back another day because he doesn't have time. That was a different branch than i normally used so got my money back faultless via customer service. Thought this would be worth mentioning.

Is this anything to do with the Mercedes F1 dual-axis steering mod. Good timing
I'd like to know how they align just the front wheels, I used to do this years ago, and you HAD to align them to the rear (which can't be adjusted anyway). (Super tracker )
They are also offering alignment of the front and rear for £50. However, I don’t think you can align the rear wheels on most cars?

Anyway, the police pulled my missus over and said the rear wheels are crabbing? Does anyone know how to fix this ?
Please can anyone tell me how much time does it take to do a front wheel tracking properly.

Crabbing is when your rear wheels are pointing in the wrong direction and the front ones are tracked to those. You're steering wheel is straight but the car is going to the side with all 4 wheels pointing in the same direction. So you're moving like a "crab".
How the police can tell this I don't know?
Fix it with proper 4 wheel alignment. Costs around £60+. But fix the underlying problems first.

I'm not sure on your first question but as far as I know 4 wheel alignment would sort your rear wheels crabbing. On a Toyota I had I was told the rear was off a bit but was also told it was so minimal the cost of sorting it wouldnt be recouped from the slight shoulder wear on the tyre. Yours sounds somewhat worse
I’m tempted to do the four wheel alignment. I might take it to kwik fit for a free check up
For wheel alignment, go to a place that has a Hunter machine.

Hilariously, if you call Kwikfit and ask how much they charge for alignment, they say "we need to see the car first", as if they are EVER going to let you leave without the alignment being done.

I've had two cars done by them very recently; Forester with just front (rear were ok, but they are EXTREMELY prone to seizing, so was expecting to be told rear was ok even if it wasn't) and V50 with had all four done (I had just replaced major suspension parts).

Was very expensive IMHO, but open Sundays so what can you do?

Front was just under £50.

All four was around £70, but they'll do 8 alignments (4 wheel) within 2 years for £100, so I paid that since I'll need at least one more alignment in that time (£30). Will probably take it a few times since I've already paid!

If it wasn't for Sunday opening, I don't know if I'd ever use Kwikfit.
Pointless paying any amount for wheel alignment these days with the state of the roads, I paid about 80 for all 4 tyres aligned and within a week of driving on the road the wheels were back to being back where I started from.
How do they become misaligned in the first place? Is it by hitting pot holes? My mini clubman pulls slightly to the left but the roads are pretty bad where I live in south west London and don’t know whether it’s worth doing this if it’s only going to last a short time. Any advice?

Not quite right, you'll be travelling straight forward but if following it you can see the body is pointing to the left or right slightly. You see it all the time with the original Minis.

What you consider pulling may just be down to the camber in the road and modern cars tend to be set with far less toe in than they used to reduce scrub on the tyres and therefore less noise, less tyre wear and less fuel consumption. Mercedes are a nightmare as they seem to set up for v-max on a billiard smooth autobahn and you find you almost never have the steering wheel straight in this country due the the excessive camber our roads have for drainage.

Find somewhere you think is properly flat and see if it still does it or move to the opposite side of a road it's doing it on and see if it changes direction.

Tesco car park (well, some of them are flat...)
Went for my alignment this morning and got a refund because they said they can't do the front wheel alignment on my car and it has to be all 4 wheels. On top of that, they said the front arms have to be replaced before they are able to do the alignment. Also advised to replace rear tyres. Total cost would be over £1600. My car is worth about £1300. Lol
