But to be fair, it better that people are informed before making a purchase and then regretting it later. You face points on your license and a pentalty should the police stop you in the street. I actually went into a halfords store recently and they are legally required to inform you of the issues before purchasing.
I would love to get one myself and hope regulations are relaxed on these electric scooters because they are fun and very practical to use.

I wouldn't buy one as its always raining and wet.
You can't use on rainy days so wait till April
No comments yet from those who tell the children Santa does not exist.
Holy moly, I misread this at 50% off and just went nuts to try and buy it lol. Couldn't justify the purchase otherwise. Still a decent price. Voted hot.

If you read instructions it says, dont use when raining incase water gets to battery.

Yeh but they'll most likely break (countless forums about this) and warranty won't cover water damage

Ahh I missed that. I personally wouldn't worry tho as I been riding electric unicycles for 4 years and gone through so many puddles that it went over feet and still going strong
Just as well it never rains in the UK

They're literally an electric wheel with two footrests on either side and no seat. Looks proper weird

And they weigh a tonne!
Have been keeping an eye open for a good deal for the M365 Pro but now the weather has changed I think I'll wait until Spring - can't see me getting a lot of use out of one over the Winter.

This is true, nothing wrong at all with being presented with the facts, but what tends to happen in the comments section in an electric scooter thread is it always descends into a messy tit-for-tat bickering-fest. Just have a search on previous threads and you'll see what I mean.

Yeah they def can weigh a bit lol. But thankfully a lot of them have built in trolly handles

Yep.. Here's a shameless plug of my review regarding one of them

Lol I am an old dude. I'm 39 but still rocking the piercings
Just had my M365 on a test drive today, after getting it 2 days ago. It's really good! Cruise control is great, but I think I'll need to have a play with the brakes as it's a bit strong at the moment, sends me flying forward every time I want to slow down.
Battery doesn't seem amazing though, spent most of the ride on normal mode, with some moments on Eco just to test it, did 3.5km and battery was at 80%.
I got one and got 3 points on my license after going through a speed camera.

Electric unicycles... interesting! Are they easier to ride than a normal unicycle? I imagine they are as you're not moving up and down so must be easier to maintain balance?

Do they have any pros over electric scooters like this?

Any pointers appreciated as I was thinking of a getting an electric scooter but this sounds pretty cool!

You're not old. Wait until you hit forty and things just start to break. Then fifty and you long for the days when you were forty.
Incidentally, they do 12mths 0% which would be about £29 a month with the fifty quid off.
Are these the faulty refurb ones or brand new ones ?

Knife crime up, probably all crime up, not enough police (apparently) cant get to even see one should you be unfortunate enough to have your home burgled yet enough time to nick you on a electric scooter.

Maybe the police should say to the government "We haven't got time to mess about convicting people on these so get your finger out and change the law toot-sweet" as long as your not scootering furiously of course, same laws as a push bike for example.

Well the price of the Pro one is about 40£ more then the official store so for that model is only 10£ off realistic

The instructions that come with the scooter say 'Do not ride in the rain'. They are ip54 not ip67.

They can be tricky to self learn but if someone who rides teaches you, you can usually get the hang off it in around 20 mins. These can be a lot faster then electric scooters up to 35mph and battery life can get 60 miles before it needs charging. It's like cars... the more you spend the better it will be

haha - i was thinking the same. Have had one for about a year and they are so much fun to ride, but now i worry about police stopping me and giving me points on license which is absurd, considering the knife crime/burglary going up!
Wasn't there a recall for these a while ago.

Yeah read my post from earlier
