All good until they go on strike again.
Excellent find! Let’s hope they don’t strike again any time soonXD
Getting this message when using the £100 voucher code: Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again.
Do BA deserve your money? The pilots or company don’t seem to give a damn about the customers who put them where they are.
It’s time people make a stand against these uncaring companies..........then again......£100 quid off!.....I’m in!

You need to be logged into your Executive Club account and the voucher conditions have to be met, i.e. flights within the dates specified (24/10/19-30/3/20) and the price per person min. £300 for the £50 voucher or £600 for the £100 voucher.
Does anyone know of a way i can book flights where one of the tickets has hold luggage, and the other does not?
It seems like its either both or nothing.

Yep, two single tickets. But usually that won't be very cheap.

Thanks for the response. Sorry I think what I wrote made no sense now i read it back!

I want to book TWO return flights. I want only ONE of these return flights to have hold luggage.
Try it over the phone. The sales team have always been very accommodating.

I think that they should honour the discount code over the phone

Thanks Matt. I'll give that a go.
Ah, so a return trip for two people, where only one has booked luggage.

Yep, book the tickets as two different transactions. But you then run the risk of not sitting together unless you pay for seat allocation upfront. What you win one way, they get you the other way.
Put in the promotion code as above and got

"Sorry something went wrong. Please try again"

Typical BA
Damn wish it included may time flights
Please note that this is not an offer open to the general public. There are very restrictive conditions:

Eligibility

1. This promotion is only open to Eligible Participants. An Eligible Participant is a member of the British Airways (“BA”) Executive Club in the UK who is also an employee of a corporation in receipt of this promotion from BA.

So unless your employer told you about it, you probably don't qualify

I can confirm I have now successfully made a booking with code (not an employee of BA). Only just signed up to executive club yesterday.
I am member of the executive club and it worked for me too...not employee
i am member of british exclusive club and its not working for me, i am trying to buy flights from india though, so maybe only works in gbp currency

Only works from UK, USA and the Eurozone. Replace the GB letters at the end of the code with US or EU accordingly.
FLYBA100GB worked for me on flights from London to NY (not that I can afford to go, but thought I'd test it out!)
Is it really free to join the executive club?

he can always call BA and ask them to link the two booking together, but they will always be on two different booking ref, so buying separately or the other option is to buy without luggage then add it after the booking is made to one person only. best of luck

If you didn't make the booking how do you know it worked?

Because you can enter the code before checkout.

But how do you know if the purchase will be sucessful and for the anticipated price? If you haven't had your journey ticketed (you haven't received the e-ticket with the 6 digit booking reference) then there's no guarantee that the purchase will have been sucessful.

The people on Flyertalk tend to be well informed and just to quote a couple of other comments from their site:

1) I have not yet heard of a BA discount code that can be passed around and used by anyone, and

2)
several commets along the lines of .........If you have booked using this code, check your card statement. It seems a lot of payments are going through at the full amount with the discount being ignored!

Don’t take everything that people post on FT as gospel. Yes, there’s a lot of knowledgeable people on there but it’s best to do your own research. Quick search on HUKD reveals a number of old BA voucher codes that could be used by anyone.
Careful using this code guys. I just tried making two separate bookings and was charged full price to the card in the end, even though the code was active and final price displayed was with the discount.

Edit: Looks like multiple people reporting the same In the FT thread.

Presumably, if you make 2 separate bookings in excess of £600, you'll get 2 lots of £100 discount.
I hope they spend some money, of their overpriced tickets, on the sluggish super slow website
Is it £100 off per person or the total as there are 3 of us

Book one by one?
I was trying to book but the price is more expensive than an agent I use even with the voucher .. And luggage is one piece whereas the agent has 2.

Ah, that's good to know, thanks! Tried calling yesterday but they were pretty busy. I ended up just cancelling my bookings and rebooked using Avios instead.

Apologies for asking the obvious but:

1) did you sign up to executive club?
2) is the cost of the journey over £300 per person?

If yes, it should work!
