I've personally used tsoHost for many years and this seems like a good deal to me if you're looking to change hosting providers or extend current packages. UK based and good customer support. WordPress hosting, Cloud hosting, cPanel hosting, VPS hosting etc.

I manage hosting for hundreds of clients. TSOHost used to be great but got bought by GoDaddy a few years back and their hosting quality nose dived.

Regular occurring performance dips, server issues and overall far too many issues. Highly recommend avoiding.
I used to recommend them to everyone, they used to be brilliant, then they were bought by godaddy and the customer service went down the toilet.

Shared Email Servers are constantly blacklisted for spam.

I'm pretty fed up with tsohost (was vidahost) after 4 years. Can't send to large groups, loads of issues with blacklisting, etc. When I contact them about it apparently that's my issue and they offer me more expensive business type services just to host my family's e-mail!

Who would you recommend now please?
Thanks

We use Kualo now for the past year and a half or so and they've been really solid. Also had good experiences in the past with Siteground. UK Fast on the higher end (large scale hosting) have a good rep.

Bluehost get fairly decent reviews but I have no personal experience with them at all.

Fair enough. I've not had any issues myself, apart from the increase in price. Every time I've used the customer support they've been responsive and helpful.
Thanks for the pointers!
99p to try a VPS out is a steal. I presume they can't force me to renew at £500 odd quid in a year?! They seem very good at getting that figure in everywhere even on checkout lol.
