This requires combining two deals. One with Amex and the other one with World Duty Free. Before you fly, print this voucher to get £5 off £75 shop at WDF (https://i.emlfiles.com/cmpimg/2009/7417/2867401_vouchernew3.jpg). Now buy your fags/booze/sunglasses/perfumes worth £75 at WDF and use your Synced Amex card to pay for it (details here: https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/amex-statement-credit-deals-tesco-world-duty-free-spacenk-asos-1763095) - you will receive a credit of £20 on your Amex statement since the shop is worth over £60.

So now that you've got a great deal, you can't or don't want to take it with you... use the Shop&Collect service from WDF and pick it up from the airport at your return. Talk to the sales rep at WDF who can arrange this for you (http://www.worlddutyfree.com/information/airport-services.html).

Fags have never been so cheap in the UK.

heat just for the fact it isn't one of those infernal Tesco deals which nobody seems to be able to find
I was told the voucher cannot be used on tobacco products. In fact I was told that no discount could be applied to tobacco products due to regulation in UK re promoting sale of tobacco, so interesting to see if the Amex part would be applied if you only had cigs?

Amex part applies to ANY purchase including cigs. The voucher, I'm afraid I stand corrected, does not apply to cigs.
unfortunately the duty free allowance for fags is 200 cigarettes. The rest of the stuff at duty free is way expensive. you can buy cheaper at high street sales. even booze is costly at duty free. in my opinion duty free thrives on airlines asking you to check in early and once you are through security there is not much to do but shop. Travel retail is a high margin business
