Yes you are missing something click the link marked something like "interested in games" above the DVD deals and it opens the combined offer.

Yeah, i didnt let me reactivate my old account with another free trial either. Instead i just made a new account with a different email and home address and then you just change the address once youve become a member. I used my mums address just to be safe anyway...

For those of you who can't see the games option:

you get to:

Also, when my free trial ran out my wife wanted one. Same address different email and different CC and that was no problem.

The priority is for letting them know roughly in which order your discs arrive - whatever priority you have set your discs will arrive at the same speed. So if say you have two films that you really, really want to see - stick them on high priority. If you have some others that you want to see but aren't in a hurry then give them medium or low priority. (In theory) they will try to send you your high priority titles first but if they aren't available then they will choose a title of a lower priority. Hope that makes sense.

Just out of curiosity, what happens if you go on holidays for a 2 or 3 weeks and something is delivered.....can you cancel for the length of your holiday or do you just leave it until you get back? I don't really want to tell anyone incase they rob me.....blighters!!

Yes. Delete all the items in your rental list four/five/six days before the 90 days are up (just to make sure that they don't send you out anything that you won't have enough time to send back before the 90 days is up).
And once all your DVDs are back to them (usually safest to leave a week) phone them up and cancel.

I have heard alot of people havent been able to reactivate any free trials now. It happened to me a few months ago and just happened to my girlfriends account. It seems that they have finally grown a brain and realised people are getting it for free :P

I just did the same as I have done for the last two years!!! Clear list, return last discs, call to cancel when I know they've got them. Go back to my account and click the reactivation button and enter the code. As an extra precaution yesterday I deleted all my LoveFilm cookies.

I'd seen all the other posts about not being able to reactivate accounts with the trial codes anymore and to be honest I was expecting to be disappointed - but I just thought I'd give it a go with the code that I've used every single time... and hey presto it worked! Next payment September 2008.

I don't know if it made a difference but last month I missed the deadline to get my discs back and cancel, so I did actually pay for last month's service. I do tend to do the reactivation late at night... can't imagine that that would make much difference though.

boomboom - if you are using the method of signing up with new details then you shouldn't be reactivating an old account... it should be a fresh one I imagine.

I tried this tactic (changing my email and signing up with a new address and even using a different card). Unfortunately I couldn't get it to work as when it asked for my card details it wanted the Billing address of my card which is the same as the original address I used to sign up with before.

So unless you have a different credit/debit card registered to a different address from the one you originally signed up with for your previous trials, I think you will get spotted like me. :oops:

Thanks for the reply. Gave it another go, clearing all cookies, but it's still saying no-go. Bit of a bummer. I'll be keeping an eye on these forums to see if anyone works out a way back in which doesn't involve moving house. :-D
