Depending on which policy you're after, going online via Quidco cashback could be cheaper :) £50 cashback for any policies over £99 £40 cashback for any policies between £76 and £99 £17cashback for policies up to £75
Thanks for that, I used the nectar and M&S offer together. Good thing about AA over RAC is that if you are planning travel to the US you can get free maps, travel/accom guides plus pretty good hotel discounts on all the major chains using your AA membership card.
quote SE26 in promotion box and get 2000 nectar points ends 30 sep!!!
Cheers and thanks for adding your knowledge (Hugs)
Well, it depends on the merchant I think, sometimes straight away, sometimes you have to wait 6 months or longer! RAC only have a 54% tracking reliability at the moment, however mine tracked with them with no problem and I didn't have to wait long for the cashback - its all very pot luck!! wd for your 2nd post btw
Really? shame you cannot do both! I just got a leaflet through and it's only my 2nd post! How quickly do you receive quidco cash?
I've received my £20 voucher now, had a choice of about ten different outlets, very simple process.
You might want to check out MSE: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/insurance/breakdown-cover/ as I found that Eversure were cheapest for me costing £50 for personal cover with national breakdown coverage via TopCashBack with £6 cashback expected soon.
Thanks 'morgie' - So when I signed up I set the start date of my cover a month in the future & the AA now tell me the voucher comes six weeks after the start date of the cover not six weeks after the initial application - so we'll see.
Contact them by email, see Community Updates. They tend to run a little late.

This is for car cover only for this price . Not for individuals/couple/ family the price changes as mentioned in other posts
I know, that’s why when they call the AA out they give the same address. year 1 address 1 year 2 address 2 etc. How do the AA know they don’t. They took out cover on the 2-8-20 starting year 8. So it must work.
incorrect, your friends may well have done this but the condition is all members need to reside at the same address.
It appears that...you can't!

50% off breakdown cover for all NHS workers until 10 August @ AA Breakdown Cover
Seems pretty good deal for new AA customers (if you're NHS) as they have taken 50% off the introductory prices for new customers (not just the usual 50% off the standard price!). W… Read more
Update! its now 40% but my renewal was double so i called and managed to get the 40% off customer saying that i am with the NHS and gave them my NHS Code on my ID Card! still think its cheeky as I have been a member for 7 years and not one call out and still raise the price.
New customers only. Guess we won't be renewing with them then
Follow the NHS link, then open new tab for topcashback and open another AA tab,. Now go back to original NHS AA tab. Might not work in the long run but worth a try. (the deal is still very cheap without topcashback) Cheers
How do you get topcashback with this deal please as doing this directs you to their normal prices?
I wondered that as well.... No verification needed whatsoever, I signed up with my personal email address. Stay safe
I was unfortunate enough to have had to use this service a month ago when my car didn't start and me and my wife had a shift that morning at our local hospital A&E. The battery became faulty due to my car being stuck at the bodyshop during lockdown for over 2 months as a result of my colleague bumping into my car in the car park at work. Our shift was due to start at 7.30am and I realised the car was not starting at 7.05am. I made the phone call to AA at around 7.10am, by this point having been resigned to being late for work already. The AA informed me they would prioritise us and have a technician out within 15 minutes. To my surprise, a technician arrived sooner! An AA technician arrived, ran a full test on the battery and got the car started by 7.25am. Against all odds, we managed to get to work on time. Thanks to the AA (y) (y) (y)
When does this deal end

NHS worker Does not included my wonderful pharmacy assistant who Drove all the way from Crawley to work at the out of our emergency pharmacy near st.healir, but the AA WILL NOT ABLE TO HELP HER GET HOME TONIGHT AFTER 10PM. ONLY FOR NURSER AND DOCTOR WITH NHS ID.
They should do it all the time? What sort of entitled comment is that? No one “should” offer any discounts to anyone. They are choosing to do this. They are a business to make money. They are not a charity. Clearly you do not understand economics and business
Everyone saying it nice there doing this but maybe they should do something as a yearly thing.. Fact is they should do it all the time!!! not that it’s nice now, there just saying oh well when this all goes away they can pay like everyone else and when it’s over half the population will treat the nhs the way they was treated before (y) 🏻
I use offers I don’t ask for all the time. Not sure about that statement to be honest. If I could have a useful offer/freebie, I’d take it

You want cover that will take you back home with the car. as has been said if you breakdown 100 miles away and it can’t be fixed then you and any passengers have to sort out about getting back home 100 miles away if the garage can’t do it today. then you got to go all the way back another 100 miles to get the car when the garage has done it.
i don't understand one thing if i do not buy from the quidco link how am i suppose to get the quidco ???? as long as i understand purchase has to be done through the quidco link in order to get quidco bonus.
Still £39 for me. They must be following wrong link. Just select 1 year option. theaa.com/breakdown-cover/uk?optMshp=vcon100&utm_source=insert&utm_medium=direct_response&utm_campaign=AO5INS51&prov=WE114&prom=A5740&source=Affinity%20-%20print%20vouchers
