Can be decent, I've got some of the panniers and rack bag range and its sound. The bikepacking 'vortex' first version tore for a mate of mine where the straps were sewn on. The sizing is haphazard on the clothing, some for UK build, other items for cyclist build I.e. smaller

Their stuff is regularly 60% off, even on their own website. Sorry, hate to be the one that says it, as it's a goodwill NHS post. But 30% off on Altura isn't really them going above and beyond, they're just shifting some stock at a higher price than they would if it went into their usual discounts later (flirt) I'll take my leave (ninja)

I've not seen the sizing chart I got mine from go outdoors in store. I'm normally L and a L fits me fine.

Great price and find OP! I was a bit unsure about size as sizing can come up crazy different. Buying two pairs of a different size added up to free postage and free returns so it actually works out cheaper once they refund me for the pair that don’t fit (y)

It stops you from getting a wet bum while riding. You get a lot of spray from the rear tyre and when you are mountain biking you don't tend to use a rear mud guard so the added protection helps a lot with general comfort.

Unfortunately it's not windproof, so in colder days you will need a jacket or vest over it to keep you warm.
