So Amazon have a deal for their Amazon Student Members (23rd-30th September).

There are some good bargains to be had with this as it appears to work on anything!

Just 'purchased' an Art Therapy book from a lightning deal that was £5 applied the code and my basket value went to £0 and with it being a primeable item I get it delivered tomorrow for free!

Code is : 'STUDENT5' this only works once!

Is the product supplied by Amazon? Also is your prime membership the student membership or standard? If the product isn't fulfilled by Amazon the code doesn't work and it has to be the Amazon student prime membership you are on

I am on

Tried it, product is there but code doesn't work.
Haven't used the code for anything else either so doesn't make sense for it not to work
Thanks... another Xmas present for my daughter sorted!

Amazon prime is free for 6 months for students..
I also have Amazon Prime/Student but the code does not work.
I'm guessing you can only use the code once during the offer peiod (23rd-30th September).
?
Worked no problem thank you
I'm on the amazon free 6 month student prime membership and the code does not work for me. The item I want to buy is an SD card hotukdeals.com/dea…302 is it because I'm on the free student trial?

Please see my question in the post above.
I've figured it out and it may b the same for you , it appears because I never had a payment method in place to continue after the free trial expired it would not accept the code.
Once I linked my normal Amazon payment visa card to continue with prime they accepted the code. My card was already on their file as a payment method for purchases but for some reason not for prime membership.
So try and log into your prime membership and make sure you have a Prime payment card on file.

I'm on the free trial and it worked for me. Only works on some items though- wouldn't work on children's items, but it worked with an art book (both in the lightening deals and supplied by Amazon).
I've tried the code on several items (including those mentioned here), and it never works.
Do you have to be a Student to have a ac.uk email address, or is there anyway I can get one to open an account, thanks
