There are some issues with delivering some items at the moment, but you can use your co.uk details to sign into all the Amazon stores (I think Japan's is the only outlier) and ship available items to the UK (I think Canada has stopped shipping) and you shouldn't have to worry about VAT, unless it's a third-party seller (you have to read their T&Cs). I was suggesting that something in a laptop with desktop RTX 3060 performance should really be called an RTX 3060, and so on. I know that such a convention hasn't been the case for years, due to marketing.

Kind of a point I covered- if you suggest they are just named completely differently then you have just as much if not more confusion than simply preserving the current naming conventions. There could then a strong disconnect between models and potentially generations, adding to the difficulty understanding performance. I really don't see Nvidia's naming conventions as being intentionally misleading, more like as streamlined a hierarchy as possible and a consolidation of their branding. The best thing for them is to toss the 'M' suffix on the end once again really.

Because many people aren't clued up enough to know that a desktop GPU and laptop GPU are tiered differently. You and I know, but the average consumer does not. It's deliberately misleading. I own a desktop 3080 BTW.

This is my concern, although I want it for a mostly fixed install in a garden room, the fact it could be taken easily to a new location appeals. I don't think I would ever need to run from battery although having a battery and £100 in my pocket is hard to argue with. My concern is how well any of these budget projectors will work given I have so much ambient light potentially in the target environment.

Also no inbuilt battery

It does look good, but obviously for a portable projector it’s an expensive option.

Its a sweet spot in terms of specifications - 27", 1440P IPS, slight bump in refresh rate and looks quite nice. Its still a budget unit so don't expect the world. EDIT - looks like the deal on that unit has ended now.

GT master edition should be cheaper in UK. That is a perfect size. This is also a good value but a F3 might be a good option in UK.
