I have read/watched on YouTube some disturbing stuff about how he manages his business alledgedly, but really I don't know what he's like in person. It might be competitors disparaging what they see as competition. His company does cater for some left handed models which I'm grateful for. There's just something about this company that I dunno can't put my finger on that makes me not want to buy. If I ever get to try a Chapman in a music store then I absolutely will and make my own mind up, if it's good it's good regardless of what anyone else says. Anyway make up your own mind is what I say, I'm just one Internet stranger with a vague opinion about this brand. I like ArnoldPlaysGuitar and his reviews and here's his review of a Chapman ML1, it was 3 years ago though, there's definitely far newer reviews such as ones from this year that you can find on YouTube > Here's Glen's review >
Yes they are made there but they are still a British company with many British staff and British HQ with most of their guitars made in Korea (with a few high end ones made in UK). I was referring to no name Chinese companies and/or massive corporations making guitars in China. Chinese made guitars are (generally) very different in quality to Indonesian, Korean and Japanese made guitars.
But Chapman guitars are made in the East too, none of the bigger brands are Chinese. They are pretty much all made in the same factories over there, except for the flagship models that are very expensive (with a few exceptions).
And make sure to teach her all the best fingerings.
I don’t see the issue with him, I own a chapman guitar and happened to meet the bloke a couple of times, incredibly nice and down to earth. I’d prefer to support a small British brand like chapman than a larger faceless Chinese one.
TC Electronics was once a fine maker of musical instruments. Then Behringer bought them out in 2015.
Great deal, well spotted!
Thanks. Not that any of it means anything to me, but a friend is in to that sort of thing, so passed on to him.
Oh, I know! I had to double check the next best price from other retailers, as I thought I'd missed something. Good reductions though. A lot of Andertons Epic deals are really strong offers usually. Not seeing so many recently, but still... I like to have a nose from time to time.

sE Electronics X1S Condenser Microphone with sE isolation pack shockmount and pop shield - £113 @ Anderton's£113£142.7521% off Free P&P Free
I bought this a year or two ago for £135 and it is top notch quality. Highly recommend. Looking at other retailers, this is the price they're being sold at for used condition. Thi… Read more
I prefer the sE, if you look at the frequency response of both microphones, the sE is more flatter and natural than the NT1-A. When I was looking for reviews and samples of them both, I personally liked the sE more than the NT1-A, which prompted me to get this over the NT1-A. I can't really compare otherwise, since everyone's preference is different, but looking at the specifications and features of the X1S vs the NT1-A I would go with the X1S.
How does this compare to the Rode NT1-A condensor mic ? I`ve been looking for one for vocal recording using my UR22mkII interface.

Anyone recommend a place to get strings at decent value?
Wow if you were in a pub or a club playing one of these it would definitely write a statement. (lol)
I'm struggling to find a single element of these that I like. Other than the thinline Tele body. Ruining the flame maple neck with block inlays. Looks like a home build - just throw every quirky part you can think of at it and use a stain over open grain to finish.
Disagree, buy from a shop and you end up paying more than you would for a brand new one online, never mind that you're actually buying ex-demo.
Yes I have. But I'm not retarded. Money is already a plural. And sarcasm isn't something we should use when talking about 6 string wonders.

TC Electronic BH800 bass amp head with 4x10 cab £399 at Andertons.co.uk£399 Free P&P Free
Similar to my other deal for the BH550 head, but much better deal if you need a full rig.
Heat added for price; but not sure that 29kg for a cab counts as "lightweight" - I've got a different TC head (which is great) but I matched it with a Gallien Kruger cab that's about half that weight, after struggling with a heavy combo for far too long! In fact, I can actually manage the whole bass set up in one trip if I put the head (which is in a laptop bag) over one shoulder, my soft guitar case on the other and carry the cab and a small rucksack in my hands.

(lol) 2:30 "It's like I'm tripping... OOOoooooo" From a woman who sounds like Joanna Lumley Sorry I took so long to reply I was looking for this after I watched that. I saw this guy a few years ago and thought if I was a famous rockstar I would write at least 1 album by this method... Don't know if you've seen him but... He's crazy... He's like some high priest in a modern "Clash of the Titans" playing music to the Gods... LOL... Release the Kraken...
My Memory Man with Hazarai has a reverse delay which in ping pong mode is mindblowing.. I use two Katana amps widely separated in room and was trying to figure out if I could patch it in the loops of this G-System retaining the stereo image.. it sold out before I could figure it out anyway :) Here's a vid of that pedal if you're interested.. not a typical demo here by EHX lol
Ha ha ha.... Sorry I meant the the different notes from a single chord would play. Like as you play the 5th string in the left channel the 3rd string would be "Ponged" on the right channel. LOL... Look at all that Jasmine blowing through my mind!!!! To be fair though... All that tuning strings seems nonsense then someone like that makes it seem crazy good. :o
Or there's the cheap way and just tune every string to F :) >
Yeah I was sort of, joking... But I love a ping pong delay. A single guitar chord strum on a 80ish bpm slow song can be amazing. If you get the timing right you can get the individual strings playing on both sides at the same time... Hippy trippy man.
