Nice find - should be able to make some great poster of my visit to Oz last Xmas:)

Strictly speaking you'd want something at 300dpi so you want a source that is 9000x6000 however depending on your image and the viewing distance you can get away with less. As you're unlikely to be viewing a 30x20 inch print and lest than arms length as you would with a small 7x5 or similar just think of how large bill boards look and if you've ever seen the quality close up. You could probably get away with a good quality source from a 6mp camera or greater. Keep in mind that most compact cameras will format the pics in a 4:3 ration and not the 3:2 that this is so you would also need to crop the shot.

Before sending it's best to upscale the image to a higher resolution then you have control of the quality and not just leaving it up to the printers automated system. Do a Google for up-scaling images.

Oh and good price too.

Thanks for this.

How about if I scanned a photo in from an old photograph? What sort of quality would I end up with?

The big prints are done at 254dpi

Voted hot. Good find

Nice one poppy10!

& nice find OP!

Ha ha ha, ive scanned it in and chosen a high dpi, it took about 10 minutes to scan in so hopefully thats a good sign. Anyway good find!

Anyone having trouble with this? I've tried to print a couple of A2s and the only time I can get to the checkout the code isn't applying.

Finally managed to complete the order on another PC. Must have been a problem with cookies.

Took a bit of effort to get it to work for me here, tried in IE7 to see if cookies were the issue as suggested by wseed, eventually got it working by removing one of the two prints I had in the basket, applying the code, then adding the other print again.

Don't forget Quidco..

Cheers for that, quite handy timing as I've just had a colleague ask if she can get a 20x15 print of one of my photos!

Sheesh, cutting it close - I uploaded via FTP but the pictures weren't showing, there must be a delay. Uploaded them via the internet explorer uploader with four minutes to spare, managed to get the order through ok.

Great deal, I've just got all my album prints for my holiday through Photobox - this now gets me a few nice poster prints.

John

Got mine delivered today and they look great. Just got to find my window mounting gear to frame them.

Ordered 3 X 30" x20" of these and got em today. I done some 1777 X 2409 photos of Daniela Hantuchova and they look great

Got mine too, I just have a 3 megapixel camera and my 20x30 inch poster looks amazing.
