Fake on what the Bose or the Majority Snowdon - I have the Majority Snowdon 2 and its no fake.... brilliant bit of kit for not much money
Check fakespot on this and then don't buy it!
Bose are excellent but if you want a cheap soundbar that sounds excellent check out the Majority Snowdon II (Built-In Subwoofer Surround Sound, 120W - £45) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Subwoofer-Bluetooth-Streaming-Mountable-Compatible/dp/B07GYRVP61/ref=sr_1_3
Damn right no DTS support, avoid.
Dolby digital only, avoid if you want it for home cinema
Are they any good for taking calls? With kids around and other noises, I am looking for some headphones that would cut off the noises and let's only my voice? Is Sony xm4 better than this for the calls?
thanks for this! bought new from JL
Great headphones, these are better than Sony for phone calls. If you’re not gonna be using them for calls then either set are a good choice tbh.
Mine arrived yesterday and they're not too bad. Much better than I was expecting
Laughed so hard. They do look rather unfashionable.
2nd gen has better battery life and there's a sports model with longer life still. Fit them with clear lenses and they're a bit more versatile. As a prescription-wearer they're my dailies now and I love having headphones always available.
OMG, what's next? Vision headphones?
Awful, poor battery life, when they run out you have to take them off to charge them so can’t use them, can’t use them inside or when the sun goes down unless you want to look stupid or get run over, sent mine back, totally pointless, they should stick to speakers (y) There are plenty of times these have come up on this site before and comments, worth reading through before you part with any hard earned cash. https://www.hotukdeals.com/search?q=bose%2Bsunglasses
I wear a pair daily and I'm having to return them for repairs. If you open and close the arms a lot (like, daily to take them off to sleep) the ribbon cable connecting the arms to the frames can break. On my replacements I'll be keeping the arms open and 3d print a little shim to stop me accidentally closing them. Otherwise they've been great for calls and as always-available headphones for popping to the shops or commuting. I used a full pair of headphones for long listening sessions or noise cancelling to concentrate.
Remember they don't seal to your ears, so how exactly would they keep noise out? How would active noise cancelling help?
These are superb have had a pair of rondo style for 18Mths. I took into my local spec savers and they fitted a pair of clear prescription lenses for me in 20min whilst I waited for I think it was £39. I use everyday whilst walking, connect perfectly to iPhone over Bluetooth. Also useful on FaceTime calls. Can control vol through pressing a button on right leg and turn head slightly, holding the button also pauses the audio. Amazing audio quality as usual from Bose.
Nice one, ordered :)

Always get refurbs from big brands like Apple and Bose. Always been too notch.
Hot from me. Great price for the 500
Me too. From previous experience refurb from manufacturers are usually items that have just been sent back, and are therefore good as new. Anyway, hope it helps someone
Don’t understand why this is getting voted cold.it’s an officially refurbished Bose with full warranty and in near perfect condition!!....Surely it’s worth saving £60 for the sake of maybe a tiny scratch on the case somewhere?!
Thankfully I read reviews from previous threads I am no longer interested in these, will wait for Amazon Frames and see how good it is (:I
Has this now expired? Can’t see anything.
You can, I went to Seen in Manchester to get mine fitted. Still wearing them as dailies and while I would like more battery life they're perfectly acceptable for phone calls and the odd trip to the shop. If I could charge them while wearing I'd use them as my only headphones.
I'm still making my mind up about that
No, Bucks fizz... the greatest group ever.... Honest... (lol)
