Must admit not really obvious as I was looking for “2x” rather than “double” but it’s basically half the price. This stuff is excellent and it’s so thin you can spray it. Two coat will cover any dark surface. Thanks for this OP. Heat added.
This stuff is excellent. Just don't get it on your hands; it will either still be there in a year or melt it off.
Zinsser BIN is quality
Thanks, thats the stuff (y)
I’m using Gardz over the top of previously wall papered walls as had bad problems in the past house with crazing. Can one use 1-23 orbin? I have only used bin on wood knots lol. Also I have some peel stop in the garage (previous house bathroom installers I think put pva on the ceiling in no prep as it peeled).
Good point. Although, I tend to leave reviews just after I have first used something. If others do the same they will leave reviews shortly after they have painted their fence. At which point it probably looks great.
209 reviews on Screwfix, averaging over 4 out of 5 stars. They can't all be wrong.
The Screwfix offer is for 2 x 9 litre tubs for £28, or £1.55 per litre. This is £20 for 2 x 5 litres, or £2 per litre. You got the better deal.
i bought 5 5lt tubs of this so called "5 year" fence paint. I used it on a 30 mtr new pressure treated fence which had built 8 months before. Allowing for drying before adding a 2nd coat it took me 3 days. After only 6 months it looked terrible, faded wood colour showing.. I was furious and contacted Ronseal and emailed them with photographs of the fence before and after painting 6 weeks later. after arguing about that fact that I had followed instructions on the tub to the letter also provided the barcode off the tub so that they could allegedly check that particular batch they agree to refund me for the purchase. I also claimed for the cost of someone local to repaint the fence as I am 76 years of age and suffer with arthritis and the thought of having to repaint the fence again did not excite me. I obtained a quote from a local chap who I can trust mot to inflate the cost, which he provided me with based on 3 days work at accepted at £190 . Ronaseal paid for the job to be done. I stated that the fencelife is not fit for purpose so good luck to all of you should you decide to believe "it does what it say's on the tub"

Brewers Decorator Centres wallpaper clearance - From £4.80 per roll (Free collection)£4.80
Wallpaper clearance from £4.80 per roll on selected lines. Possibly different prices for trade customers/accounts
I use this a lot, yes it not the best sand paper but you get so much for the price you can just use a new piece. Sometimes it doesn't matter how good your sand paper is, depending what your sanding it just gets clogged and this stuff is great as ay pence per sheet rather than keep going you just get a new fresh bit. Heat from me but I just hope I can still get it when I need it!
Any reviews on this? I normally use 50mt fathog
