I used the wrong term, it's the Bounce Back Loan Scheme. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-a-coronavirus-bounce-back-loan. 2.5% interest over 6 years, no payments for the first year, and you can overpay without further costs. 25% of your turnover 4 year Transit lease is ~12K+ Vat, fairly sure the van will be worth more than 5K after 4 years.

got a link ?

I hope it's a Ford vehicle with VW badges added, rather than the other way around. VW vans are utter garbage (despite their cult following).

ottosump288

Camper van conversion cost approx 12-14k depending on your requirements, as for the MPG stated I get about 32 miles, I've owned a custom for the past 2 years and its been great, should have got one years ago.

Cooling_Deals

That's a bit of an empty comment because it largely depends what you do; however, you make it sound like the custom has no room which is not true at all. I'm an installer, I travel across the country with systems and tools in my Transit Custom SWB, which has been more than suitable for what I do. I have it racked out on one side, so I have a mobile workshop, and still have ample room to shift large systems, with additional tools and even then plenty of room to spare. *As I typed this, I wonder if you are thinking of the Ford Transit Courier

Excellent Deal for those looking to purchase a used car.
GW61

There's only ever one winner in a used or new car purchase from a dealer, and it's not the customer!!

Pauladin91

I tried this 2 days ago after seeing it on an advert. The price they offered me for my car was pathetic. £1500 less than what webuyanycar offered. And they hadn't even seen it yet so no doubt the price would tumble even more. I don't understand it, surely if I'm going to be buying a car from them they'd offer a good trade in.

adriandocherty

Hear hear. It’s not a good deal if they’re saying “I’ll get you 0% credit but give you an awful price on your trade in”. Beware.

kobirulali

Quick maths shows that anyone with a decent credit history can get a loan at a low rate for a loan which means you're not buying from someone advertising 0% Apr when in reality the price of the car is higher to take that into account. With a loan you have more choice to shop around including private and can get more discount on the price as you are paying "cash". Not that I endorse loans or anything, just saying.

ZazZYo

Hot. I don’t have a used car.. any hack around that?

I agree the nissan a more comfortable car like ride which is fine if you use it as a car but as a truck (which is what they are) the ranger is better, it is better under load and carries more, it is better at towing, it is better off road, it can wade through 800mm of water (deep!!!) oh and don't forget the first pick up truck with a 5 star ncap rating! And the ranger looks great!! So if you want a car buy a nissan, if you want a truck buy a ranger (lol) (y)

kevinyork

Had a ranger a couple of years ago but didn’t get on with it. A very hard uncomfortable ride and a bit cumbersome round corners. Had the Tekna version of the new Navara for a couple of years and find it much smoother and pleasant to drive. 5 year warranty on the Nissan is a bonus. Worth paying a bit more for the Tekna version. Bit cheaper here

audievo

When was the recall, last I heard Nissan had not recalled these Navaras and were dealing with complaints case by case. There is a massive group of owners who were last I read making a claim through a firm of scolicitors. I heard Nissan have been repairing vehicles, replacing chasis, implimenting preventative measures and even buying affected vehicles back from affected owners but I don’t think there has been a recall.

mavs

Massive main dealer recall on the older shape model, chassis rusting out and some being painted under warranty and others being written off.Hopefully as mentioned already problem now sorted.

audievo

Yep, I had one 2006 nice truck but I sold it when 3 years old before any mention of chasis problems. If i Bought another I’d only keep it 2 or 3 years anyway. If your worried just get it filled up with waxoil. Ranger is a better truck anyway

Yes, nothing particularly wrong with that, although not ideal. What it means though, is that there are no rate increases as with an interest bearing loan.

fireman1

Simple 0% car sales equation. Take normal sale price, add amount for interest, call this new price the normal price, offer new price at 0%

Theadebo

Worst car dealership chain I've ever dealt with. Terrible pricing, terrible customer service (management repeatedly and blatantly lied) both at purchase and when getting car serviced. Avoid like the plague.

mikeydalby

I went to them last year and they valued my old car at £600 against a £15k for a 2nd hand Fiesta ST.... I walked away and the following week sold my old car to Evans Halshaws for £1700 and purchased a privately owned 12mnth old Fiesta for £13k (with 2 yrs warranty left on it)...

glavaa

Bristol Street normally limits 0% interest to only half of the vehicle value

Was offered £150 off a 10 grand motor from a sales guy told them they were having a laugh in the end i think i got a grand off inc my old motor and they drove it down from durham free of charge and left me with a full tank not a bad deal but i did pay cash.

The.Londoners

The 0% for 5 years is only for up to 5k, higher amounts are still eligible but for graduated lesser periods of time

Theadebo

Terrible company, appalling customer service, not very honest. Avoid at all costs.

Four stars, not bad. I think I'd have given 4.5, extra half a star for correct use of apostrophe. If only there'd been an exclamation mark after the second "ha" I'd have given the full 5 stars.

chegz60

Ah I get it. Clearly from the name 'bruceboy' and the colourful language can we assume you are from north of the border. No wonder you get a good deal. For the rest of us 'Wur all Doomed'!!

Went into Darlington branch yesterday, (deal still shows online, so offer didn't end 31/3) the manager was gobsmacked at the price. He said it was even cheaper than the employee discounted price! Had to upgrade to metallic for extra £550, but got some mats thrown in :)

Besford

Back to the future? ;)

Tomofife

Comment It's actually a Renault....

anlygi

Nice to see the Pulsar back. If we can get a Nismo Juke then this should hopefully get a hotter version. With the exception of a couple of models the great Japanese machines of old are nowhere to be seen in recent years. Shame all their modern cars are brutally ugly too. I'd have an R34 GT-R Nur over the R35 in a heartbeat.

masliya

Hoping there's going to be a new Nissan Pulsar GTi-R following this model :)

Dacia a much better buy and you will get more room inside especially the boot, and don't let the knockers/badge snobs put you off, their reliability record in the rest of Europe has been proved and just because Dacia is new to the UK and is an unknown brand to most, it won't change this reliability record. I've had 2 Dacia's, still on my second, in the last over five years and neither visited the garage except for servicing and I've done many long trips between England and Spain and never had cause to worry or think will this car get me there without breaking down. The choice is yours but I would still give it a test drive to see if you are satisfied, please give us an update as to which way you go, good luck. But you won't need luck if you choose the Dacia.

Hi can anyone helps is this deal still on and is this car better than Dacia Ambiance £6795 as well thanks
