HP Sprocket Photo Printer (White)

Was hoping ot would be a laptop. Nevermind
Just took a look and its just £100 off here and there, up to a few hundred quid off 1080 gaming laptops.

"Up to" should be a banned marketing term.

How else would you market it? Some things 50% off others no where near
So it's a deal for real students not for us with an NUS card? 💔

Nope, I confirmed this with UniDays support.
Gives me a code for the Sprocket when I refresh, wondering if that worked for everyone too? SPROCKET50

Honestly all PC manufacturers are rubbish, we can build our own desktops, but laptops are much harder so sadly we have to purchase laptops from them.

What exactly happened to your laptops? I've got a Lenovo which are known to be built poorly with corners cut, but mines still working fine (excluding degraded battery life and HDD speeds).
My first one the display failed, got it fixed, then the hinge failed.
The second one it was well overheating, took it to john lewis and they got it sorted then it started overheating again, took it again to fix after the keyboard started playing up.
The way the hp laptops are built and the quality of materials are very poor, not to mention the software where the windows didn’t have the wifi software, you had to download it from another place then instal.
And just remembered the memory card reader failed after 1 year.

Wow, would you consider yourself a heavy user?

Personally when I buy a laptop, I do a clean install of Windows 10 (if it's a work laptop, otherwise I'll use Linux because it's the best) and then install drivers myself so usually I don't notice if drivers are installed or not unless it's the mousepad and keyboard drivers.
No I am not a heavy user, I might have been unlucky but friends that have other brands like acer are well created and durable compared to hp.

Totally agree,Same goes for when advertised in shop windows.40% OFF in great big letters and the words UP TO so tiny even the hubble telescope would struggle to see them, ( ok slight exaggeration ) .I would like to think the UP TO words could be made law to be a percentage in height to what the figure is.Minimum that is, say 35%..Hope your reading this Mr Advertising standards. Or Mrs just to keep it PC

When products are mass produced you are bound to get the odd one that will be a swine to say the least, And when its you it can be annoying to say the least. I havent been into computing ( only as in surfing / streaming and reading ) for that long,im still using my first laptop which is a HP Pavilion dv6-6b50 sa,which was a refurb from Currys. There's more spec on here than i ever use and its still serving me well, so for me HP has been very good so i would always sway towards them because of my first experience with there machine.Just to add i have been looking at getting a new one but dont want to end up with a to little spec laptop, screen size same as this one though.

Me and my friend both bought a Ford at the same time. This was 8 years ago. Mine is still driving and passes it's mot every year.
He drove his drunk into a lake. He is dead and his Ford was written off.

Ok, this is an analogy but you get the point. You can't just say Ford's are crap based on that.

How's about average discount? Or since you could cheat that by discounting a bunch of cheap stuff, a pound value for the average savings? E.g. save on average £100 per item with our sale.
I missed the ‘up to’ in title. Had got very excited about cheap laptop
Best deals ever! Got my printer £85 off and last year used there print cartridge send system and saved loads of money! And that’s what you need more of when you’re a student:-);-) love hp;-)
