Same here. On one page "www.cambridge.org/core/what-we-publish/textbooks" it says they've suspended the free access due to 'problems'.
Hi guys, could you please let me know how can I actually read a book there? I registered, and I can just see the citation :S
Online only, but I'd imagine you could find a pdf on a download site somewhere I was just coming here to post this, looks like a nice resource for a few months
Nice find. Any downloadable? Or all just online access?

I thought the controversy was the original post description did not have an accurate course scope (since amended). For a beginner one could be misled into thinking that this is a starter course rather than advanced course which this one is. I presume starting off a tough course could put one off programming, this is the risk. It has been a long time since I did 8086 and z80 Assembly Programming, that was tough then as it was much easier to program in 3GL.
will there be any ref or cert given for completing this course? it be nice to put on cv as additional qualification :p
Has anyone got this working they seem to assume you're familiar with all the tools they use and there is no help or forums so as with all these free computer courses like coursers this is very user unfriendly.
