CitizenCard proof of age & ID cards are available for any UK resident and are issued in 3 age categories: '18+' for adults, '16-17' for young people over 16 and 'Under 16' for children.

We offer two products for all age categories - in addition to the CitizenCard ID we also offer the Yoti CitizenCard, the new digital ID solution - a physical ID card which can be used to create your identity on the free Yoti mobile app. You can select which type of card you require during the application process.

Whether you are home shopping (including purchasing alcohol and tobacco or playing the lottery), applying for a new job, renting a new home, visiting premises (like prison), accessing services like transport, housing services or claiming benefits, CitizenCard helps you prove your age and identity

STANDARD APPLICATION Costs £15 and takes 21 days. Card posted by Royal Mail 2nd class post
URGENT APPLICATION Costs £30 and takes 1-2 working days. Card posted by Special Delivery guaranteed Next Day by 1pm

Roughly like the bunch in your mobile phone accurately tracking you position as well as the nonsense you spew but far smaller and without any actual capability right?
Lily Stewart is nearer to 40 than the alleged nearly 21 year old she claims!

It might help to put the cost of card in post.
Used to be free.

Not every youngster has a passport or even a driving license. They just have plenty of money to blow

Like the one in your debit/credit card?
Is this worthwhile, it might be a good alternative to taking driver's license or passport on a night out - but will vendors accept them as a form of ID

I lost my passport, this is just another cheaper way to get ID. Yes its police backed and works in bars, stores and from in UK flights.

Useful for folk with expired passports that need ID for buying restricted goods, domestic flights or to get served in bars. Its government backed

So...You can get £10 off of a free application? Does that mean they will pay me?
......................
The Yoti app is free to download and use. We don’t think you should have to pay to prove your identity.

We make money by charging some businesses a small fee to check the identity of their customers and employees.

We will not sell your information to third parties for marketing or any other purpose. In fact, once your account is verified, we have no access to your information anyway. It is your information, and only you should choose who it is shared with.

Yes, they certainly will
Rfid chips are up and already to go for the last 10 years.

Yes. The one that’s on the card, not in your arm.

Whether you agree with the exaggerated, hyperbolic concerns or not, you haven’t really compared like for like.

Surely it's better to get a proviosnal driving license over this

Cool did not know you could fly with this

But then they cant stamp your passport
Thanks for sharing your first voucher offer @George_M we’ve also added some additional info on the card
For those asking, it reduces the price from £15 to £5, making this a 66% saving. Heat from me.
They make it so hard to apply for this card when you don't have anyone to act as a referee.
I do not understand the cold vote on this. Just a fiver to have ID so you can travel anywhere in the UK by air and also establish that you are who you are and entitled to be where you want to be and do what you want to do. [Now I have old song lyrics stuck in my head]

The yoti app only works in a few places, unlike this card which is supposed to be accepted everywhere as it’s recognised by the police, government, and sia.

Not for me - it just took a fiver off, but I suppose maybe it took a tenner off when it was first posted. Heat from me anyway as I don't have a passport or driving licence so i'm finally taking the plunge and getting one of these.

#Edit

Although I've since found out that they actually want a passport and/or driving licence to actually apply. And if you don't have one, you can nominate a "professional" person to look at certain documents and if you look at the list of documents they require if you don't know the person, i don't have any of them either ..

And it looks like you can't get a refund either FFS

Only gives £5 off for me
So I definitely can’t get one now. £10 down the toilet
