Thought the lack of UK streaming apps was still a problem but looks like it's now fixed :) https://www-techradar-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.techradar.com/uk/amp/news/freeview-play-finally-returns-to-lg-4k-tvs?amp_gsa=1&amp_js_v=a6&usqp=mq331AQKKAFQArABIIACAw%3D%3D#amp_tf=From%20%251%24s&aoh=16280454505237&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&ampshare=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.techradar.com%2Fuk%2Fnews%2Ffreeview-play-finally-returns-to-lg-4k-tvs Great TVs (y)
I got this TV and you need a decent sized back boxes for cable management etc. The TV is stunning but mounting it was something else when you don’t want cables coming out underneath.
Not everyone can. Some in rented property's and some have different locations that won't allow them to put on wall i.e there's a window there.
Goto any currys and ask them to check if they or any local stores may have any. Would be good to know the sku code
I just bought this today for £349.99...John Lewis price matched the Currys price. Just playing around with it tonight and it updated its software to Android 11 and the latest version of ColorOS 11.
I turn off the HDR as it's super aggressive and can result in some really unrealistic colours. The AI mode can over soften so again I leave that off. The zoom will got to 20x but it's a hot mess so I never go above 10x if I can help it, The screen makes everything seems very bright and pop out so bear in mind that viewed on other devices it will usually appear a little less garish. The stock camera app is actually fairly decent and GCam doesn't do a great deal to help plus you end up losing one of the lenses on it. The ultrawide, like most on the midrange, suffers some distortion on the edges so framing on this lens is a little trial and error. However there are plenty of inbuild filters and experimenting with them you will find one that suits your style more (14 I think?). I am not massively technical with the cameras, I tend to point and shoot, but there were a couple of good YouTube guides on setting them up for more pro shots.
What settings do you use on camera just of interest may help me and other. Thanks
I have this phone and it's good. The camera takes decent pictures but you need to adjust a few settings on it and it just updated to the July security patch. The battery is so so, but given it charges to 80% in about 30 minutes not really an issue. ColorOS is less of a pain in the butt than MiUi but it has a whole different set of quirks of its own such as having to keep the screen on during charging if you are going to use Android Auto without wanting to hurl it out the window, but compared to the myriad bugs in MIUI with Android Auto I suffered it's far better. It's smooth, variable refresh rate is good, it's slick, lots of customisation, bloatware that can be uninstalled fully (bye Facebook!) but you'll need to do some work to get the best out of it. Hot (y)
I have the neo too got it for 200 like new condition a few weeks back.
I like the design of this but agree with Asus CS being bad (it's not bad, it's utterly terrible and the worst I've experienced in this industry) and Asus seems to constantly have annoying niggly issues - but if this is no good then maybe that Huawei Matebook 13 posted in another thread is more suitable and better built. Sleep mode problems seem to plague many systems including Surfaces, Dell XPS, HP Spectres, etc. to the point where I just hibernate them, nothing more annoying than coming back to your laptop to find it hot and battery flat. The only machines that seem to sleep consistently well are Chromebooks - so maybe it's a Windows driver thing.
Don’t recommend it, got one and it’s a bit crap tbh
Tbh, Dell suffered also problems with sleep mode at some point on XPS, with machines roasting in bags instead of 'sleeping'. I think reason for price cut is i3, even though it's adequate for many users' needs
Sabotaged by Windows Downgate maybe. Manufacturers are on a hiding to nothing. A consumer gain if that is the reason for this amazing price.

You won't need to wait long for it to drop below 20£. I played through it at release and sold it immediately. The game's full of great ideas; poorly executed. It's a huge open world that gets repetitive very soon despite variety of biomes. Kudos to developers for supporting the game with patches, it may get better but much as I love open world RPGs, I've got absolutely no desire to come back to this whatsoever.
I do have to disagree with you here, and no I’m not being ‘woke’ but assigning gender roles to unisex watches based on size is a bit weird. As I said I have a 40mm, purely as I like having a smaller watch, it fits nicer under a shirt etc. But I know a load of women who have bought the 44mm as they just love the larger size. Buy the watch you want.
I'm struggling coz I got the biggest one, and was upgrading from the smallest watch 5. As a result, I just have it tucked away as my wrist is tiny.
You can easily pick up a brand new 6 series unopened on fleabay for under £300
Yep I think they made the 40mm for women/skinny boys and the 44mm for men. Obviously I have the 44mm.
@AndrewRoss @t4v Thanks both for your inputs - only 5’10 so leaning towards the 40mm.. just waiting for a good deal on one
