Off to London next week this will come in handy thanks

deleted66159

BTW - your original title said. 'Free entry at attractions in London @ daysoutguide' - hence my question.

deleted66159

Ah OK - I have already sent you a PM but you make a good point. I will move this thread to vouchers.

james4809

I posted as Free Entry with a paying adult, as this explains the 2 For 1 deal more clearly. The previous deal you mentioned only advertises one attraction, Madame Tussauds.

deleted66159

James4809, Thanks for posting. Can you just clarify please, as the link goes to a page of '2 for 1' rather than 'free entry'. Is this the deal? We're offering 2FOR1 entry to over 150 top London attractions, restaurants, theatres, exhibitions and more, when you travel by train to the capital! To take advantage of these offers just browse our list of 2FOR1 London attractions (look out for the pink ticket with 2FOR1 on it). Click "Claim offer" to print off your 2FOR1 vouchers, and then present the vouchers together with your National Rail train tickets when you arrive at the attraction. (Read our FAQs for full details.) and if it is that deal, is it any diiferent to this https://www.hotukdeals.com/vouchers/2-for-1-tickets-madame-tussauds-when-travel-train-days-out-guide/957290 which has already been posted?

Hope you don't have to use SWR, 2 people can suffer for the price of one

Aerobiz

Used these earlier this year. Did Maddame Tussauds, London Dungeon and the Thames Rocket. All in one day, and all at half price (or even better as they do family discounts as well). Big saving.

You could grab a pamphlet from the station on your way to London and fill it on the way. There are 10 “coupons” in each so handy if you want to visit many attractions in one trip. a big plus is that you don’t need to print anything

When i input the date of travel (going in june 2019 to London) it tells me the expiry date of the voucher i want is 02/01/2020 My date of travel is months before the expiry date but it wont let me download voucher. This happens on 50% of the attractions i need vouchers for. If i put in a different date, lets say a day before i travel then its fine and lets me book voucher but im worried if i dont put in the correct date of travel then maybe the voucher will be rejected at the attraction ?

So would this work if I went from kingsx to Euston??

arjun311

This is available all year round in case anyone is feeling they need to rush to get this as an offer.

ahenners

Don't strictly have to travel by train. As long as you have a valid train ticket - from one stop away usually does the job and doesn't cost much ;)

Think it might actually be cheaper for me to buy return as spanning 3 days & 3 single tickets x 3 days is more expensive than buying outbound & return. Seems if you've got your return then your outbound ticket is valid for more than just the date of outbound travel for the 2 for 1 offer. Hope I've got that right but value your input :D

ziggycj

It works out cheaper just to get a single journey ticket. Work out whatever is the cheapest one way ticket. You don't need to actually leave London so could try whatever the next something like Old Street to Moorgate (a London terminal). Do this whenever you want to use an offer.

gazdoubleu

So if I buy a 3 day return ticket from say Watford to Euston, can I use that ticket for 2 for 1 for all 3 days?

wetpanda

Fantastic timing, was supposed to book some tickets for the London Eye last week, but forgot, so just saved me a fortune!

nomstar

No problem, just need to have a terminating in London terminals ticket

Do under 5's need to present a train ticket when using 2 for 1? Merlin attractions charge from the age of 3 or 4.

Daniel_P

I use this for the last 4 years. Good reminder before a long break :D

Besford

Thanks anyway - appreciated.

JCod32

Saved me an absolute fortune last time I went to London this! Don't forget also, if you've got a railcard, you can apply your discount to your oyster card at the train stations, makes the credit last a bit longer :)
