Code not working 2 Dec (annoyed)

deanos

anyone know where to input the code please

Vwoof

Avoid this company if sending international. Thought the 20% discount was a pretty good deal. Turns out their tracking is fake. And no way of calling anyone.

anouj

They probably treat business accounts totally different to consumer accounts though.

Wings18

I have a business account and send about 3/400 items a year. I've only ever had 2 items go missing. Their claims team has been super.

DHL are the only courier that have impressed me during the pandemic. I wanted something from Japan for a birthday present so I ordered it 6 weeks early just to be safe. It ended up arriving via DHL in 4 days (embarrassed)

winty1

You get what you pay for applies to couriers too. I send hundreds of parcels each month. If you want something delivered fast and reliably use DHL. For domestic deliveries TNT are pretty good and fast, not so much atm with the pandemic though. Dpd are good. Parcel force not too bad but not the quickest. Avoid Hermes, parcel will probably be lost and they make it very hard to claim, requiring pictures of parcel etc. Resellers like P2G prices are good but again hard to claim when it goes wrong. Packlink are awful avoid. Try and cut out the middleman if possible as when it goes wrong you won't be helped. DHL though wow, I sent a parcel to Norway at 15:30 and it it was signed for 11am the next day.

clairebear090

Anyone know how long this offer valid for? Also, website says only service running in UK is next day service. Sending a birthday gift...wondering whether to rely on next day delivery or get it to arrive a day early...anyone know their reliability?

barnehurst

Packlink get poor reviews too Yes, I soon realised there is no customer service at p2g. Just disputed charge on PayPal

grimsby's ok - i went there once. can't imagine why - it was a long time ago. i remember the strong fish smell but i imagine most of that is in the distant past. i don't think it matters where one lives as long as one has plenty of money - without money any place can be hellish. http://www.grimsbytelegraph.co.uk/remember-the-abc-and-odeon-a-look-back-at-the-history-of-cinema-in-freeman-street/story-30199757-detail/story.html

I have used parceltree.co.uk for around 8 parcels recently, it was DHL, up to 30 Kgs at £6.95 each (24hr), very good! and you can pay with paypal, easy to track too

aerotec

Oh! Must check that out! The sites I listed will do up to 25/30kg for around £10 or so but £6-7 is great! Have you used them before? Are they reliable enough? What company ends up collecting your parcel?

I've been using BusinessPost lately. Signed up through www.parcelsave.co.uk/ £5.50 per pack upto 25kg. Phone by 3.30 pm for same day pickip. Sent 6 packages last week. Phoned at 3.30, they turned up at 4. All Delivered by 10am following day. Even text me to say when a package was delivered and who signed. Insurance is £10 per kilo standard. Extra units are available for £4.99. I unit is for £1000 cover upto a maximum of £10000. Plus don't have to pay up front. They invoice you later

deleted42588

Payperdrop (on fleabay) probably offer the best prices ATM. Currently £4.99 for up to 30KG for 1-2 Day delivery. I used them last week and item picked up at 1pm and arrived at destination at 10am the next day. Ironically whilst searching this mob out on ebay (I didnt post the URL as its probably filtered), I noticed that Parcel Force have their services plastered on there "for next day delivery"! Hmmmm!!!

Shengis

Staples:thumbsup: They do DHL but you just drop the parcel into the branch. Not sure on the current prices/insurance though. Forget that, just found their current price list. Don't think you can send anything cheaper then that with DHL for this to be a deal - unless ofcourse one was anyways sending something through DHL.

simonspeakeasy

dhl INCLUDE the delivery fee when applying taxes and fees. also if you get your parcel delivered to a work or business address they automatically apply the business fee which is 10 quid admin fee with no way to explain as their letter says 7 days to pay up or collection agency. their letter takes 3 days to arrive from the date, then 2 days weekend, leaving you 2 days to pay for an incorrect fee or face debt collector charges. who else sends a letter with effectively 2 days to pay (in my case). you pay at hsbc bank, my nearest is 30 miles away!disgusting!

custardy

never done it I simply pay the fee or take the gamble with Royal Mail my packet slips through the cracks treat the fee as an expedited clearing system If time isnt an issue then do it for free The point is people always come out with the " I never got a chance to pay" when infact they could

Shine600

Totally brilliant - until I read this bit at the end - 'However, as a manual procedure there could be a considerable delay in the receipt of your goods.' Is this what you've found yourself, Custardy?
