DigitalOcean $10/£7.17 free credit

Had an account that was registered but never activated (registered but never added a payment method once signed up). Received an e-mail shortly after giving me the voucher listed (ACTIVATE10) for $10 (£7.17) worth of credit (2 $5/month droplets or one $10/month droplet).

I forgot about this code (e-mail was dated 4th Oct 2017) and it's still working today so I know it works. Unsure whether this is invite only or general use but it seems to be working regardless.

If you're looking into cloud computing, these are a great option. Equally, makes blazing fast web hosting too (bare bones but with a free open-source panel like VestaCP, you can have a cheap web host).

It looks like this is a new customer offer and looks like it cannot be used for existing customers. Once you make an account, you can enter a promo on the payment details page. This is a $10 coupon but equally translates into £.

No worries. The only thing with VestaCP is, if you're using Ubuntu as the image, it only supports Ubuntu 16.04 LTS for now. We use it in work. It's configured with Apache by default but you can configure it with NGIX at setup. Supports Letsencrypt built-in too and the UI is really modern.

Thanks for the heads up! I’m used to CentOS mostly. The nice interface really caught my eye! Makes a huge difference even if you’re only diving in to change things once a month 😊
