Thanks to vizta, Father's Day code DADDY works to give 10% off.

My research skills are failing me as I can't see it on their blog, website or Twitter page - but it definitely works (just tested it!).

Thank you ...just in time...do I have to expect a custom charge for a £166 watch?
Thanks for posting

I've only ordered twice (just made one for a watch that won't incur Duty charges!) but Creation told me a few months ago, "..we recommend you opt for 'Royal Mail' shipping as there have been lesser incidences of import duty levies for that shipping option but we will not be able to send original box via that method (so as to avoid custom levies). Original boxes can be sent if you select 'DHL' but will attract import duty."

It's £8.86 Royal Mail postage for the Seiko Bottle Cap Automatics (image from that thread), not sure if this amount applies to all watches or dependent on price.37847432-iKN5K.jpg
Psst - apparently there's another code flying about - MANONTIME - named after the forum, but it doesn't deduct as much as DADDY

And the "original" box they send your Seiko, appears to be a generic one that isn't sized to house watch, cushion & paperwork.
I fell into the trap of opting the DHL shipping thinking I'd get a fresh/sealed watch, but didn't happen.

Oh, that's rubbish. I know some completists would want the original box for that specific model, will bear that in mind.

You've got the wrong website - that's Amazon, not Creation Watches

Tell me about it.
And DHL make sure they collect and take their slice for "processing" import duty. £10.something.
CreationWatches are very creative how they make it sound like it's free shipping when it's not.

Probably my fault, as it does look as though I could be referring to Amazon (on the ongoing Recraft thread). Apologies.

Hey! No need for apology. I was having, what politicians (Boris included) refer to as, 'a momentary loss of clarity'.
DADDY no longer works (the code, rather than the parent!) but MANONTIME is still an active code.
