Oh, that's great. It used to be a case of returning the watch to their service centres when the battery needed sorting, so that makes a huge difference.
From what I can see it's only £30 every 5 years for them to change the battery in a boutique. That's fine by me...
Yep.... RESYNCHRONISATIONIf the battery is exhausted ( or removed from the movement more than one day ), the watch needs to be totally resynchronised (reprogrammed). All the functions are affected. If the battery is removed from the movement less than one day, only the hour needs to be resynchronised. Only approved service centres are authorised to change the battery and synchronise Conquest V.H.P. watches Link to document Here
I own quartz watches, but I wouldn't buy one with a V.H.P. movement. The only way to replace the battery in these is to send it back to Longines to do. No point taking it to a local watchmaker or jeweller or replacing it yourself because only Longines can reset this movement according to their documentation. I'll pass.
Bought as a gift for my husband in 2019 when first released nice watch and very good price for UK. If you want it cheaper you could always take a trip to the Caribbean (lol)
I have the Citizen Satellite Wave F900 GPS Watch CC9008-50, initially it didnt change time which was quite annoying. It was set to UTC, I think I changed to London or enabled DST after reading the user manual. Never had to adjust the time since over 2 years. Maybe mine one also has atomic time keeping thats why it works?
Just an FYI: these watches don’t account for daylight savings time. So it’ll get the GPS signal… and give you the wrong time, so you have to manually set the daylight savings on or off. It’s why I haven’t bought one because it almost defeats the purpose for me
Looks more like a £99 watch than £399.
Heat...Nice looking watch. Mineral glass is anything but scratch resistant. Speaking from experience.Having scratched an expensive Citizen Red Arrows watch. Good news is Citizen do a Crystal upgrade.(Or they did) Would be worth it for a good looking watch like this.
Good spot, just bough a couple of seikos so will have to hold for now. Typical.

Thanks for sharing though, I'll have to be quicker next time!
That's a shame, they appear to have put a lot of their discounted watches back to normal prices overnight. It was showing as £952 yesterday no codes required. They weren't in the sale section just most of their Longines, Hamilton etc. watches were showing at discounted prices. They seem to do this occasionally.
Yes I believe that's the same as Ernest Jones Sales
The day I argue and go against the word of a stranger on the Internet, is the day the nazis have won. I'm buying this watch! (y)
I have the same sized wrist as you, I'm also 7.5'' and it's a perfect size. Well worth a punt
Thanks. I wonder if it might be a little small on my 7.5" wrist, but was seriously tempted. I love a deployant clasp! At £500 it gets loads of great reviews on youtube
Absolutely brilliant, solid build, feels more like a 38mm than a 40mm due to its design. Not a fan of the clasp in general but that's not an issue since I swap out the straps anyway. The sapphire crystal ontop of the white dial makes it a little hard to see in bright sun light due to how reflective it is but other than that, no qualms. 8/10

I You must have big wrists for a Range Rover, I don’t even think I could get away with a Mini.....;)
I love my Range Rover one... https://www.watchmaster.com/en/zenith/el-primero-range-rover-chronograph/24204040027r797/UAG7KLWJC4?reference_code=VLWQDUUCYE&MID=EN_GB_CRM_1000-19-1_0-0-0_0-0-0_0-0-0_0-0-0_100-1-0
Me too, probably the best bet is a Tudor watch. Seem to becoming harder to get new and hold their value.
Such a good deal, heat!
I've seen this being sold for second hand around £4000+ from dealers. What the value will be in a few years, who knows it all depends on how much the new price keeps going up. I think the RRP for this is around £6000, not the £5100 quoted by Frazer Heart. I just don't think they updated the price as its in their sales.

Nice and clean. I will get a VHP GMT at some point. Still cracks me up that they use the term "Arabic" numerals in descriptions. I get it, it's not Roman numerals, and they aren't just indices... But let's just say numbers!
