I am not sure if this is account specific but it popped up on my epic games launcher today, I think it works for everyone. The prices of games on epic game aren't cheap atm but it might be worth it if you are purchasing Borderlands 3 or Red dead redemption, then you save about 8 pounds off your next purchase

I don't disagree to be honest, I wish they gave option to support good indie development teams instead.

Unfortunately a move like that would be far too close to decency for the likes of Epic and Tencent.
I've been reading the terms and conditions, and it looks like for the UK they're handing over a £10 voucher when you spend £13.99. Alas, neither the initial purchase nor the voucher can be used on pre-purchases effectively nixing my plan of nabbing Superliminal and then using the voucher on Wattam.

Still, good opportunity for me to grab Manifold Garden. Now I just need to find a creator who isn't also a complete prat.

Just saw that in the faq myself thank you! Updated the post, just under review now.

A good creator is actually quite hard to find these days
If your looking for an applicable Epic Games Store partnered streamer - feel free to use my name 'HeartRateTV' in the check out at the end
Vashenz - streams Fortnite save the world 18 hours a day (he’s overworking himself and I’ve told him that) or mmmikedaddy - daily Fortnite podcast for nearly a year now. If you’re looking for some creators who are actually creating
I haven’t used the the epic launcher before. Can you by v bucks on there
My daughter gifted the battlepass to my dead account by mistake. Epic won't refund us, they won't consider transferring the pass and they absolutely refuse to merge the accounts either. Not because they can't, they just won't.
They're not getting any more of my money
Minimum spend on the purchase which awards the discount, minimum spend on the purchase against which you redeem the discount also.

$14.99 and $14.99 apiece in USD, so essentially spend $30 minimum get $10 off, to whatever in GBP.

Since when was narcissisticly filming yourself playing a game considered creating something?

I thought it was a reference to modders.

Based on your profile picture, I'm going to wager that I'm probably around the same age as you if not younger. I just have a massive dislike of Streamers.

Just so you know, Superliminal comes out today - so when that's released you could use the voucher from it on Wattam
Also the same games I was looking at picking up, I'm looking forward to seeing what Takahashi's latest entry is like! It looks so fun and charming

If you're hunting for a creator code, mine is Virtute. I'm mostly a prat, but not completely.

Why do you believe they're the most poisonous thing to happen to the games industry since the crash of the early 80's?
Ok boomer isn't about generation, it's about state of mind.

Imagine being the kind of person who shares grey market keys and also says stuff like that

Because they are slowly replacing proper games journalism but lack the due process, training, accountability and integrity aligned with the journalism profession. Dodgy companies like Ubisoft, EA and Epic love them because they basically act as unpaid corporate shills who will promote their products for a free copy of a game, some exclusive access and the possibility of patreon/backer funds.

I'm pretty sure games journalists with lists like gamejournopros did themselves more damage than streamers did. Streamers aren't the reason that "proper" games journalism has been eroded. I mean back in 2014 outlets had to post and update their own rules on disclosure because they were doing the same things that you accuse streamers of doing.
reddit.com/r/p…ng/
deepfreeze.it/art…gjp

I think streamers and creators should definitely behave ethically and make proper disclosure and strive to inform their audiences of relationships with publishers. I personally always disclose and point out that if I take on a paid arrangement or a free key that it *may* colour my opinion of the title, or the publisher/developer and that people should take that on board.

I mean, at least I don't give the latest AAA title a 10/10 outstanding with paid banner ads for the title posted all across the rest of my page without a sniff of disclosure.

Or the recent Independent review of Astral Chain where the reviewer covered the game on the easiest difficulty and as a result marked the game down for missing features that were actually present in the game
resetera.com/thr…79/

There are guidelines and watchdogs that should be holding creators to account, when games journalists are held to account they dismiss those moves as trolling and push back against accountability.

If I’m not mistaken, you also can’t use the discount on DLC, which scuppered my plans to save some cash on the Borderlands 3 Season Pass

So in other words you disagree with my views on Streamers and YouTubers because you are one. I think we're done here.

I hope there's another crash
It will come hopefully look at Bethesda, EA, Ubisoft and many other scummy Devs who make awful games with controversy after controversy

Bethesda is gonna play a big part after Fallout 76 with how many backlash they've had in the last year, since day one till today with subscription

Won't happen. Games are far too mainstream now and the console manufacturers go out of their way to keep the quality relatively high. All you'll see is the share price for companies like Ubisoft and EA start to fall, thus causing them to take a much needed look in the mirror. Both of those firms have recently done this which is why the newest NFS has no micro transactions and Ubi have no pre-Christmas line up after Ghost Recon. Bethesda aren't quite there yet but give it time.

To be fair you could also make similar comments about the state of Hollywood these days. Scorsese recently did and got a mouthful of abuse from the online neckbeard community for his trouble.

I checked, and my client is offering me a $10 coupon if I buy something for $14.99.
The coupon is automatically deducted from your next purchase on the Epic Store.
The coupons also expire on the 30th of April 2020.

You have to enter a “creators ID” when purchasing a game to qualify.

These “creators” don't create anything, so much so, YouTube is closing lots of accounts, as even it doesn't see them as profitable. They are just camera loving idiots looking for attention. In the same way as all those women do on Babestation.

The whole Twitch, and Mixer generation, are nothing but beggars, like you’d see on the roads in developing countries each time you stop at the traffic lights.

Professional beggars.

If Epic had just given me a £10 off, I might have brought something, but I’m not one for funding the habits of these professional beggars myself, and as such, I won’t be buying anything.

I've got a lot of hours of publically available streams that you're welcome to disprove me through if you like I work a career - I don't stream for money. Don't make any point of asking for any form of monetisation from anyone that watches my streams.
I don't want to break your streak by making you aware of it, but you don't know what you're talking about.

Cold, far poorer sale than epic did earlier this year, which was just a flat £10 off anything in the store and did include preorders and you got the discount up front instead of having to do another purchase.

Doubt this will encourage many ppl to buy considering how dear epics games are outside sales...

This is not a sale, neither do we have a time machine to go back But if you were purchasing red dead for example, you get £10 credit where I never did because I pre-ordered it on social club.
