Thanks for this Sorry about the cold votes, members are slightly cautious with Littlewoods vouchers unfortunately due to some past problems.

jeany did it for you, as she has said, lots of people have had to pay these back or at least been pressured into doing so. Might work for a few people but one to avoid for most unless you're willing to pay full price.

dont listen to the littlewoods haters, been the same for years. just buy something that you want and if they do track you down its not to bad! I have ordered loads of stuff with codes that have no been issues to me and its been fine

at the end of the day your going to read a lot of stories about these codes and its upto you if you use them.
people who have been caught are those who have phoned up about something. IE wrong item sent, or something has broken and you are looking to replace and the customer service has your account in front of them.
the protocol is to reclaim for the last six months only on discounts. normally they allow you to keep the percentage codes and free gifts.
if you don't pay its normally passed to a debt collection agency for not paying your your account.
you will be taken to court for non payment of your account. and simply that.
if your defence is that shop direct reclaimed codes it won't work.

interesting if you had you account before march 2007. its an unenforceable debt anyway and can't go before a court

If it works, great find, thanks. For all those bitching about littlewoods codes/chargebacks etc, if you don't like it don't use it, if you don't use them, theres no need for you to even be in this thread let alone post in it.

It's not fair to warn others that they might end up paying full price for something they thought was free?

Sorry for trying to save you losing your money.

People seem to love scaring people off littlewoods, etc on here. I too was aprehensive about using codes at first but I've ordered quite a few things with codes and had no problems. The easiest way for this not to come back on you, is to pay by debit or credit card and not set up an account where they give you credit this seems to be where people have the problems. At the end of the day if the code doesn't work and you don't want to pay that price then you send the item back, simples!

If only it was that simple, two major flaws with your plan.

cold, the potential for problems outweigh the savings

never had a problem with the vouchers, used several times over last few years. all the codes work on all the catalogues as all under the great umberella company.

additions
choice
very
kay
littlewood
marshall ward

etc

as someone has said no diff with card acc or credit account small print states whichever method of payment they can claw it back. and research reveal that randomly people have had the moeny taken from their accounts without warning.

best advice has also been given - dont buy for the sake of it - buy what you would have purchased to begin with that way not really losing out if you do pay back.

remember those with free delivery have hikedup prices which are seriously pathetic, pay your 3.50 delivery with the likes of very and the prices tend to reflect that of the highstreet. that way if it does bite you on the back side it wont have been as harsh.

as i started out - i have used the codes on numerous occassions on all the catalogues and luckily yes never been pulled on it. if i was i know that i would have brought the items anyway, and after all i still got my 8% quidco cashback giving me a better saving than the highstreet.

problem is when you purchase it with a debit/credit card shop direct charge the full amount and refund the voucher amount back to the card this gives them the right a recharge from your card without your consent. they are claiming back money they put on your card due to misuse of the voucher. they are simply requesting their money back.

you can,t send the stuff back because you will be out of time for returning.

i use the vouchers and will continue to do so. but it is certainly is buyer beware.
percentage codes are the best. for some reason all the people caught have never been asked to pay them back. only money off codes

ps most people caught seem to be people who have phoned up to complain about faulty items. ie flat screen tv stopped working after 2 months

What really annoys me about this code is that it has spawned a lot of chancers on Ebay selling the code that is completely free here.

For example I have just been looking for 2100 xbox live points on Ebay and I have to wade through pages and pages of auctions claiming to be able to give you information on how to get it for £7. Some of the auctions go up to £10 or more.

I am very tempted to place a spoiler auction giving the info for free, surely Ebay should do something about this?

I ordered yesterday a Nike Cargo short and it was around 23 pounds and with the voucher it came to £8 . When I called littlewoods they inform that the voucher worth was 10 pounds only. I informed them to cancel my order as the payment shown was different and the customer care person told me that it is not the £15 code I used. I don't prefer to go through this site any more.
