Just used this. Worked great! With the 10% off it generally takes the camera body prices to just less than used average but sold as new with 12 months Fuji warranty. This or MPB is how I buy all my Fuji bodies!

Still works. Which is nice :) Finepix X10. Refurbished (list: £250 !), in the hope that it will have the "white orbs" problem sorted. And if not, it will be easy to just return it to FUJI, rather than to a dealer.

gfx-50r, x100v being their consumer range? focus area, metering, focus peaking (as default for manual focus) normally have a dedicated button/switch... burst options and bracketing contained in a drive menu, again with a dedicated button. d pad depicts old tech generally... I personally hate touch screen and have it turned off, but it’s just the way it is.

ajyAlm

Haha, Fuji don't seem to agree. Their pro APS-C Cameras (X-T2 / T3 / T4) all have the d-pad as well as the joystick. Programmable buttons serious photographers use for things like aspect ratio / focus area options / metering / focus peaking / things that you could perhaps change with every shooting session/burst. For ISO/Aperture/Shutter dials (wheels) are much more suitable. All the Sony A7x's, Nikon Z's, Canon R's and pretty much all mid-high end cameras have plenty enough dials.

macamask

No it’s not... an ISO/SS/aperture and you’re all good! I do live spare function buttons, but they are not essential... look at a Leica M class body, simplification has its own zen of less complexity.

ajyAlm

X-T30 ditched the D-Pad. Major disadvantage since that's 5 less programmable buttons. If you're going to venture into semi-pro / serious shooting, using programmable buttons is a prerequisite. Can't live without them.

TK42

I'd be tempted by the X-T20 with the same lens for £549, oos at mo though.

No idea what they do. I've bought a few refurbished cameras from Fuji and generally they pretty much look like new cameras. If you don't like what they send you you can return it.

Thats a point, the 18-135 is also a valid comparison. Huge, heavy and probably the worst of all the Fuji lens's optically. Not hard to beat! It does look like the other guy said there are good and bad samples, but for 600quid you dont want to risk getting a bad one like it appears we all did!

stkrup

1855 is very good, 1680 is just as good and have extra few mm which can be useful, is larger and more suits xt3, 4 bodies than XE3. I have both lenses, done a lot of comparition and decided to keep 1680

GMac11

Correct.

LD2DVD

I think your rating of the 18-135 is not correct but based on the sample. First one I had new was awful, 2nd one I bought refurb from Fuji has been fantastic. Almost like a completely different lens.

only mentioned that lens as nearest equivalent to refurbished one on offer.

LD2DVD

Whilst you are right as it is in the class above this entry level camera. Why on earth would you put a 16-50 lens on a T20 which whilst a good entry level lens and above average for a kit lens surely the 18-55 would be a far better match. I think for a beginner the T100 is a fantastic introduction. whilst I am sure the T20 is a good camera, it is not aimed at beginners in either spec or price.

Bogart

The X-T20 is not just £150 better it is in a different league.

Bogart

From Fuji refurbished as is this

nostoneunturned

I've experienced the opposite, bought over 10 cameras for a camera club, all as new, no problems and going strong after 5 years.Anyone remember when they had discount codes for refurbished items.......not any more

No, this has a sensor the same size as a lot of DSLRs and will produce comparable photos, it just doesn't have interchangeable lenses. Whether that is good or bad depends what you want it for - this is great to fit in a pocket, rubbish to zoom in on something.

Smeeble

I guess what I was asking was, for everyday photos that you'd look at on a phone / tablet and possibly print off smallish then a phone is more than enough, if you wanted to get into photography seriously or wanted something you could print off larger or with a lot more detail you'd go for a DSLR. These compact cameras seem to be treading an awkward middle - ground that seems to be diminishing. I'm sure this is a fantastic camera, but hopefully you understand my point.

980971

It's so strange how often camera deals on here end up with people on about using phones. It doesn't matter if you use it for 20 foot posters or images on Instagram, a camera with a larger sensor (so this vs the phone in question is around 4x as big) captures more light, more information. In practice this will mean better low light performance, better dynamic range, less noise. This applies as much to photos you use on Instagram as ones you use for a large print. If you aren't bothered about this because you are happy with photos from your phone, that's fine, but whatever you use this for it will give you better photos.

alexnnnu

If you want to print an image bigger than 10x8in you need a camera in my opinion. If only post on Facebook & Instagram or make 6x4in prints then a phone is enough. I have this camera and the image quality is amazing. Auto focus can be a bit slow but I'm used to focusing manually anyway. Sure, there are pocket cameras out there with more features but in my opinion none of them equals this one in terms of image quality (if you learn how to use it properly) for this sort of money. Heat added.
