I ordered one of these as a Christmas present for my wife. She's noticed that the control unit for the blanket gets very hot over night. Had anyone else noticed this? Is it a fire hazard?
Does anyone know how this compares to the Aldi version which was £30 or £35 about a month ago? I bought one at the time and wasn't impressed by the size. I haven't used it yet as I was undecided on whether to give it as a Christmas present? Tia.
I received on time. Good product.

Pitchmaster Electric Guitar Full Package (including 15w Amp) £91.90 @ Futura Direct£91.90
Further to the PS4 Rocksmith deal (that my daughter decided to buy) she's also decided to use her savings to buy this electric guitar package. I know nothing much about guitars an… Read more
You can shout all you like but anyone who has just a small amount of knowledge about guitars will tell you this is a complete waste of money. On the one hand it will probably put off any budding guitarist when it comes to playing it properly like full barre chords or soloing. Secondly you will find if the guitarist are any good they'll wont to upgrade to something decent very quickly. Money for this which could of been spent better. As has been pointed out not just by me get on gumtree and pick up a good in-expensive 'quality' starter guitar for probably less than this costs!
Yeah I agree... the game/training aid (whatever you want to call it). Is really good and great way I think to learn the basics in a way that is fun and not frustrating, that said I have tried to play and I struggle to coordinate each of my fingers on the strings, so instead slide with one finger..... I don't think I'll ever make it as a guitar player. My daughter however is making great progress... sure she is only perhaps playing two notes at a time either perhaps one second gaps between them but she's making good progress and enjoying it. As far as the guitar is concerned the game often requires you to retune it for different songs, but it seems to stay in tune quite happily otherwise. The guitar has two "tone" knobs and as far as my ear is concerned I can't really tell any difference in the apparent sound. I don't know if this should be more apparent when you twist either of them or if the game itself controlling the sound that is output?? There is also a small lever that has maybe 5 positions, this seems to distort the sound more, the whammy bar..... erm.... whams?
After a while, you don't look at the keys on a piano either (much the same as people type without looking at the keyboard), but I would expect that you'd look at the guitar strings initially to be sure of your finger placement
My daughter got her guitar and she is over the moon with it... equally the game (I haven't seen it yet, seems to be helping her to some degree). The guitar appears to be decent enough quality to me. especially the wooden parts which appear to be finished very nicely. if anyone wants any better pictures let me know.
Errr maybe just because they LOOK NICE FOR CHILDREN!!?!? Saw a fantastic design the other day was a three quarter size acoustic guitar with Beano print all over it, looked brilliant. Otoh why do ppl modify their cars? Because it's a bit of fun and makes it different.
