Sent an immaculate PS4 Pro a few weeks ago and they quoted me £208.50 with a 15% additional offer. Took a week for them to receive (as expected in the current climate) for them to then offer me £19 as apparently it had casing damage...

Naturally I declined and had it returned to me. Not a single fault found, so has put me off now. What are they like with phones?

I've heard this company will often pay far less than the quote given over they've 'inspected' your goods.

I've never had that issue, can't speak for everyone. They've always accepted phones I've sent, and paid what they say they will, again YMMV

Same as this, I’ve sent stuff to people offering slightly more and had the email oh we can only value it at x. Send it to music magpie bang straight away paid.

I had a bad time with these they claimed the phone was water damaged and offered me £12.
Their initial offer was £160, however this was 2 or so years ago.
Looks like their website is down for maintenance

Yes! 0.1p extra for my DVDs!
Never had an issue with music magpie. Sold several phones to them and bought a used Samsung Galaxy 10+ that was absolutely brand new.

Every item I've offered has been refused, so given up.
I used the code and it worked, and I 'saved' the offer rather than checking out because you can save an offer for 13 days... I then went to check how much I could get for something else, but it said 'the code has already been used', so I'm thinking its a one-use thing... That's fine, so I removed the saved order with the 10% discount and started a new order with both items I wanted to sell, but it's still saying 'the code has already been used', even though I haven't checked out with anything... Any ideas?

Thats fair, but I haven't really used the code as I haven't checked out, I simply entered the code to see how much I'd get with the extra 10%... But now it won't let me use the code. 😔 So basically don't put the code in unless you're definately going to check out there and then. Heat added anyway, thanks!
I've sold a few phones to them before (they usually give giid prices, and its much easier than messing around with eBay). Never had any issues. Also bought an iPhone 7 in good condition and it looked brand new - not a single mark on it.

Probably, but I contacted them and they gave me another code, 'MAGPIE10MORE'

I tried selling an (old) phone for £39.60. They said it has screen burn when it doesn't and offered me a quid! I declined.
