Sorry didn't notice, will check and get back. Update: Got my membership today and it expires October 2012, so Yes looks like I have got the 2 extra free months, and also pleased to see a few small local restaurants also in scheme even though for only 3 visits per year. :)
Did you get the extra two months as well charlie brown?
Why's it expired. Just worked okay for me for £29.99 THanks for posting. Saves on using my Tesco club vouchers for Cafe Rouge... over long run this could work out cheaper.
Instead of £69.95 for the full price when using the 50_OFFER code it comes in at £29.95 for full annual membership. My card runs out in September so was looking for a deal and found this. Cannot confirm as yet but the code should also give 2 months extra free making it pretty good value for money. We go to Cafe Rough for Sunday lunch once a month and with the Gourmet card we get 25% off the total bill including all drinks which means if i visit twice in 14 months we are quid’s in :) Each of the places listed offer one of the following deals: 2 for 1 meals 50% off food 25% off food and drink Once i use the code in September i will confirm the extra 2 months- unless someone else can in the meantime?
Buy two AA Driving Lessons and get your third free - promotional discount voucher for Gourmet Society Members Only?
Can you only use this card once in each restaurant?
If you want to try it out for 3 months free of charge use the code 'BRINC' when signing up. Note: For NHS employees. Cheers
Be aware that a lot of the restaurants exclude December discounts using this card, but it's still a very good deal with a heck of a lot of restaurants offering 25% off food and drink for up to 6 people with only one card. :pirate: CJ :pirate:
Looks good! Even if you end up using it twice for this price you have saved something. It has some good restaurants in Edinburgh and I like that you eat off the regular menu and not some cheapo menu that gets brought out for HUKDers Lol
Not such good coverage for Manchester but if the restaurants you visit are covered it is a good price.

I wish I would have known this prior to registering...
I had both gourmet society and tastecard free trials for cashback. It was really difficult to cancel both of them. First of all I emailed them. One of them (I can't remember which) canceled it and another told me I had to call them and verify my decision...
Silly question but how do you cancel the renewal? Can't seem to see it anywhere on the site.
Same on topcashback.co.uk but you get 3 GBP cashback for taking free trial. https://www.topcashback.co.uk/the-gourmet-society/
no , done it a few times

I joined. No emails then they have just charged me £35 via PayPal. Won't refund because when I joined I agreed to terms
I went through all free cashback but watch out for lotto social, apparently I joined a lottery syndicate.. cost me £1. But overall I gained a lot, just ensure that you set calendar reminders when using credit cards. Won £600 on Bingo btw, cashback is also great on Bingo sites were you get more cashback than the money you put in.
Nice find. Similar to the taste card promotion via TCB. However, they make it quite hard to cancel the membership and you are expected to call the cancellations team on the phone.
Good find :)

Sadly lots of the places don't accept Fridays Saturdays and even some Sundays or parties larger then 4. May or may not be a deal breaker but worth pointing out
https://www.gourmetsociety.co.uk/specialoffer.php?offercode=GSSUMMER17&utm_source=homepage&utm_medium=site&utm_campaign=GSSUMMER17 Was looking for the free £5 Prezzo gift card offer but that appears to have expired.
A better deal often posted is a £1 deal + a cinema ticket/s or £5 gift card, so cold. They're always offering £1 trials
Don't see this offer on the website? Shows £69.99 for one person, not sure if that's per month, per year.... Can you cancel at the end of the 3 months, T&C's don't cover this?
Such a cool logo

Tastecard do the same; luckily for me they took it from PayPal so I disputed it. Bunch of scammers. Apparently you're meant to receive at least 3 notifications to cancel so they breach their own T&Cs Stay well clear
Cold from me being what rajsingh516 said and i believe him/her.
Please be very careful they are full of **** and very misleading because when they send you an email they underline and highlight the date your membership expires But after a few paragraphs and in very small print is The date is is two weeks before your Expiry of your so called 3 months trail!! you have to ring up and request a cancellation code and then they go and cancel your contract. There is no reminder email regarding your renewal is up instead take £39.99 from your account and then send you a email to let you know you've automatically been entered into a 12months contract. I was so angry as you don't expect your contract to be renewed two weeks before your actual trail period and also there was no reminder! when confronted they told me I was sent a reminder which I clearly wasn't otherwise I would of cancelled! So don't be stung!
Hmm not sure I could be bothered. heat added tho
Even better, get £5 quidco when you sign up for the £1 trial.

2 month FREE dining card/gourmetsociety.
2 month FREE dining card/gourmetsociety. FREE 2 month dining card and enjoy up to 50% off meals at over 6,500 restaurants. No payment details required.
Is it correct that all of the restaurants don't offer the 50% off? Some offer ONLY 25% off food and drink, some give you 2 for 1's and perhaps others offer the 50% ?
Just cancelled my "soon-to-expire" membership as my wife has taken out the £1 deal for the next three months, I was a little apprehensive after what some have said, but it went through fine and I have my cancellation code. So long as you cancel in accordance with their T's&C's i.e. not too late, you should be fine. Took a screenshot of it just in case though :)
Just make sure you cancel the direct debit with your bank or the paypal authorisation & it should be OK
I had exactly the same problem and outcome. Personally, I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole again.
Snob manager at our local flaming grill got annoyed as we used the card quite a lot, she then told us that we could only have it on main meals and nothing else even though it states all food on the app.
