Good luck getting a quality handmade English shoe with a goodyear welt construction, for £70. Quality shoes are an investment, my shoes that cost £200 will easily last over twice as long as a £100 equivalent. Hot from me.
Toooooo expensive for me am sure I can get very very very nice shoes else where for 70 pounds..

I bought a pair from their "made in England range" at least I know that the workers that produced them have reasonable pay and safe conditions to work in. Expensive but I'll take care of them and I think they will last me longer than the shoes I buy currently. Less impact on the environment too.
doesn't bother me. I buy clothes direct from Asia and the quality is usually superior to anything I buy over here. Perhaps you need to get over yourself and not be so blinkered. Just saying.
Grenson are worth every penny at £200.
They are worth 20 quid tops. Cold.

I'm sure my "Freds" are made in India and they are perfect.
"..puts no off them.." iOS8!
Comment Yes they are quite crafty which puts me if them. The shoes are marked "Grenson, England" which only means they're based in England. The way to remember it is if it doesn't say Made in England inside then it's made in India which have bad reviews regarding workmanship
Really, did not know that.

Sale now on @ Grenson
Still a variety of sizes available and some decent prices for an English shoemaker. Keep a sick bucket handy for the luminous pairs. (Delivery is £5)
Awesome, the G:Lab ones are made in such limited numbers too- astonishing value really
I've got a pair of Stanleys (made in India) and they're really nice. Just bought a pair of the G:LAB ones, English made for £130, yes please
some of them look great whats the quality like? Never mind just researched it myself. Turns out most of the shoes are thrown together in Indian sweatshops, however there are a number of UK hand-made shoes in the sale which represent unbelievable value for money (i.e. around 200 quid a pair!)
Love those Rocking Horse Boots.....Freddie Boy ;)
