Completely agree. I'm not sure why Line6 haven't made a pickup strip like the Roland GR system that you just slide under the strings somewhere and boom, it's got the variax sounds. I'd buy that in a heartbeat! The Roland system is cool but I always thought the sounds were pretty naff.
Something like the 'Fender Mustang Micro' would do this. Plugs straight into the guitar and you plug your headphones straight into it!
It’s too expensive and i don’t play guitar
No, you'll still need an amp or something to plug it into. This guitar emulates other electric guitars. If you're a beginner, I recommend something like the game Rocksmith or a cheap amp modeller.
Not really. You can plug them into any guitar amp or recording unit using a normal jack lead, but to get the best out of the Variax you really want to use it with a network cable and a compatible Line 6 modeller or amp as that opens up a world of possibilities.
Sweeeeet! I think you're off the hook with that...
Completely forgot!... It came with a stand too. I have however bought this https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00I0UMCLW?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image As space is at a premium in my office.
Nice. The other item I suggest you buy is a guitar stand. The theory is that you will practice more often, if it’s visible and ready to play https://www.amazon.co.uk/RockJam-Universal-frame-Guitar-Guitars/dp/B01C5G2TQY
It's scarcely beleiveable but I bought a Tanglewood TW55 on Shpock for £80 https://www.promenademusic.co.uk/Tanglewood-TW55-N The seller had inherited it, obviously couldn't play well and didn't know guitars. It was old and dusty, with rusty strings that immediately snapped. It was listed as a TW5 - the label had faded so that it looked like "TW5" instead of "TW55" but even if it had been a TW5 it would have been an unbelievable deal. I completely cleaned it up and it was perfect. I've actually had pangs of guilt but I'm very poor - aboiut 100 times worse off than he seemed to be so I didn't offer any more money. Am I evil?
Hi. I m also in a similar boat, looking for my first guitar. I'm left handed so choice is a bit more limited. I seen various fender guitars such as ones posted on hotdeals like fender cd60s. Any recommended Yamaha guitars for lefties? I would appreciate any suggestions if anyone can kindly help. Thanks in advance

Just took delivery and they’ve actually sent me the wrong model, they have sent the MDA70WCEARSHB which is currently £599. I actually preferred this model with the AA Sitka Spruce top and from the Anderton’s video it sounded slightly better than the walnut top. Looks and sounds amazing (well as good as any guitar can sound with my playing lol
I think it was your original deal that sparked my interest in the Alvarez Ken, to be honest I wasn’t really aware of them before that. I watched as many videos on YouTube and I remember the Anderson’s guys saying about the bevel and that it is something you dont normally see on guitars under £2k. I was ready to buy a second hand grand auditorium on ebay for £380 this morning but decided to take another look, and when I seen the Elite was available for £120 more, plus its a dreadnought and new it was a no brainier for me. I’m not sure if the VTC is a downgrade compared to the stage pro on the non elite masterworks. Given I’m not likely to be plugged in much this wasn’t too much of an issue.
Fantastic price for one of the Masterworks Elite models. I'd have one if I didn't have a different Faith model already. £100 less than when I posted back in Jan. This is a great deal and a guitar that should last a lifetime if taken care of. Worth pointing out the bevel that you usually find on higher end Taylors and such. It's purely a comfort and aesthetics thing mind you. I rather like it!
Nice , I want an all solid wood guitar but I'm a cheapskate .
Hot from me. Looks lovely.
