Had a search ... fake. No discounts at all... where and how you get 50%?

I can't find any of the discounted fares in September or October. Stupid GWR just wasted an hour of my life.

Good luck getting a seat or getting to your destination on time using Worst Western Railway!

Tried using for London to Cardiff by First Great Western, but the discount didn't show up, so I guess it is route specific.

for FGW, its always cheaper (10%) to book direct than through thetrainline or other services.

Which journey did you use this on? I've only ever seen return journeys which are a few pounds more than a single - which would work out cheaper than 2 singles with 2 £5 vouchers.

Seems as if this offer re-instated for 2009 and valid to 30 June.

Voted HOT! Just got 2 tickets London to Swindon for £10 in total!
Cheers

only just noticed this discount from a different thread

is the one per person thing that they will only send one code per email address, or would each discounted booking actually need to be made through an account in someone else's name?

how did you do this? i can only enter one :?

Register two separate accounts on the site, in the name of each traveller. Use separate email addresses.
Purchase a ticket as a separate transaction for each named traveller.

The offer is limited to one per person so you would be staying within the FGW T&Cs.

What i didn't mention of course is that First Great Western don't exactly … What i didn't mention of course is that First Great Western don't exactly run the best service, but if your travelling with them anyway..... a fiver is a fiver.

As already mentioned, you can book tickets on any route. FGW just use a customised version of Trainline's site (as does Virgin).

One thing to note, FGW & Virgin do not charge a credit card fee. Trainline does.
