I would love to go - and I would qualify as I care for 2 family members and I am on carers allowance Like so many carers I won't be able to go as I can't just grant myself a night away from my care responsibilities !
carers allowance is £66.15 per week minus the 50 quid would leave me with £16.15 to last for rest of the week, it would have been a great offer and well deserved break if it was actually free, i think i'll give this one a miss!
Actually, this is a really nice gesture. It’s something for carers themselves. Yes, we get to go in free or discounted to an exhibition or park and such but that’s only with the person we’re caring for. I think this is lovely just not for me as I am a full time carer and there is no one else that can cover my role.

It’s meant as a joke. You can’t make any kind of remark without someone getting upset. Lighten up
Sadly, many of the Hallmark Hotels are pretty mediocre. However, my point is that that hotels are generally very cheap on Sunday evenings, so this 'deal' is more of a publicity stunt to fill empty rooms and recoup a load of money behind the bar than it is about thanking nurses for their hard work.
What an absurd comment. Yeah, I'm sure you can. Like you can fly with Easyjet for £15 or Emitrates for £150. Doesn't mean you are going to get the same standards!! I'd stay at Hallmark over Premier Inn any day.
If this is the case, you should be reporting it to the police, not complaining on the HotUKDeals forum.
Sadly nurses are not what they used to be.. Today most dont care if you die or live, especially if youre older (pensioner) - They may even help you to go before your time ("Peacefully") without anyone's consent. I say this from experience (Father/Grandmother)

Hallmark Hotels 2 nights for the price of one in 2019
Book a 2 night stay direct on the Hallmark Hotel website by 1st January 2019 and only pay for 1 night. Valid on stays up to 30th December 2019.
Where in London? Croydon is an absolute cesspit and the “London” Chigwell, well that’s Essex
Booked it and hear added. But it's not really 2 for 1. Without the code the price for two nights came to £135.00 and with code came to £105.00 so really a £30 saving.
We enjoyed our Hull stay for city of culture. Nice hotel, friendly people, some great stuff going on. Comments like yours are typical of most town centres. Our time in Hull was great, and yes a positive surprise.
If anything it’ll increase next year the way things are going as people might not be able to travel to Europe or require visas or the equivalent 7 Euro thing. Something those that voted leave will quickly realise when their holidays suddenly costs a lot more and takes longer to go through eu

Yes, Carlisle is a little odd. But it is a brilliant location. They don't have a gym/pool on site but you can use the facilities at DW for £10 day. Have the steak on your 2for1. And afternoon tea is very good.
Avoid Hallmark in Carlisle. So-called 4* - single glazing on the unmodernised front-facing room with traffic and station noise at all hours. Restaurant served an Eton Mess with fruit content being raw apple and watermelon!
2 for 1 gym pass (annoyed)
Won loads but not much kop, no free rooms prizes. To add was at the The Queen Chester using a Groupon, avoid as you stay in the old part of the hotel and the rooms nice but the matress lumpy gave me a stiff back each morning. Now in the newer building, more expensive, the rooms and beds I can't fault.

Call me a cynic if you wish......................................but I do feel uncomfortable with deals like this which could be considered exploitative of the military/Armistice Day connection. There are other deals at this hotel chain which could be at least as good depending on what else you buy from the hotel during your stay, eg from £39/room incl. breakfast.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.
My great, great Grandfather fought in the 1st World War, but will sadly miss out on this!

People are quick to criticise without actually offering any comparable alternatives. I'm looking forward to yours. (y)
Well keep waiting. I've got better things to do right now. Clearly you're a snowflake who gets upset at anyone who disagrees with you judging by all your comments on this thread. When I'm back, I'll update you. ;)
And still waiting for that illusive amazing Hotel stay deal....
Sorry just seen this. I'm sunning myself in Orlando right now so couldn't reply (lol)
